EmuDeck and the Rog Ally controls
Hi patrons!
If you are having issues with your new Ally on some emulators you need to set your Control Mode as gamepad, not on automatic just like in the picture :)
Also, keep in mind that EmuDeck need Steam Input to work, so you need to always launch your games or emulators from Steam to get your controls to work out of the box :)
On our next update we will add this to the install process so nobody will miss it and also Xenia to play Xbox 360 games :)

I'm using Pegasus, can see the 2 ps2 game titles show up ,no art work and then I click play and then nothing?
Having trouble, I’ve followed the setup guide, what’s posted here, and YouTube videos but no matter what I can’t get the ROG Ally’s controller to work in any games for any system.
How do you put emudeck in steam input?

Sorry. The controller but I got it to work. Just have to select Steam input from properties for each Switch game. Thanks for the great app. Will definitely continue to support you through Patreon.
Still having an issue with Yuzu. Working fine with all emulators but nothing is working for me on Yuzu.

Still having problems for the controls to work I open it on emulationstation and regular ps2 in steam and controller doesn’t work any fix?
Make sure you have everything as in the last post we sent yesterday, if it’s still not working please do a Quick Reset from the Tools and Stuff section
I can’t even find where it’s installed the individual emulators? I’m assuming I need to add the ps3 firmware correct?
you need to launch RPCS3 to install the PS3 firmware, it's an option in one of its menus.
Anyone know if their is a button to make it appear full screen and a button to switch the 3ds screens?

I'm having trouble getting Citra to recognize the rog ally controller even in controller mode. Anyone else have this issue?
No you just got to set it normally cause Citra come with keyboard settings

Regarding the Ally; I'm curious if anybody else here has encountered audio issues, not unlike what happened on deck, where Audio works fine until you launch an actual game then is auto-muted. [UPDATE: finally resolved this by individually launching retroarch and changing the audio driver to dsound, which applied it elsewhere]
Is Rps3 supposed to work in Emustation? because my ps3 roms won't launch from there for some reason

Hey I’m having trouble with primehack I put the rom in the primehack folder, however steam rom manager does not detect it

I had to actually go into Yuzu configuration and change the controller type to get yuzu to work properly. Changing the gamepad mode did not help.
What did you change it to?

Does the Rog Ally work similar to the steam deck where Bluetooth controllers are mapped through the gamepad option? Meaning should I have to remap keys when I use a Bluetooth controller? I was using Yuzu last night and that does seem to be the case. Is this a windows vs linux thing?
it didn't have to be, but if the Ally controls are player one then the hotkeys won't work on the bluetooth controllers. We'll have to test it
