Android Status Report
Hello everyone, this month has been hell on earth for me. I’ve catch every possible virus under the sun. I got a cold, COVID and then the flu. I’ve spent almost the whole month really really sick so things have been going slowly, not only with regards to EmuDeck but also my new Steam Console project ( more on that soon )
I’ve tried to answer all your private messages, although not as fast as I usually do and I still have some messages pending so sorry about that!
Anyhow, the Android APK is pretty enough complete to release a beta build soon, this first release will target Android Handhelds, not Android phones ( it will work on them but I want to have handhelds covered first )
If you want to help me getting this up to speed please send me a DM telling me the Android handheld you own and your Discord handle and I’ll add you in a few days to a Discord forum for beta testing ;)

Does emudeck have a youtube channel? 😑🤔 Showing showing how it will look for android/samsung. Maybe they might do a android emudeck trailer or something 🤔
We do but only for hosting the videos you see in emudeck.com, we don't do guides or things like that. We will do an Android trailer when the time comes, that's for sure :)
I would like to use it around mid december, when the ayaneo pocket air mini arrives :)
Will the android version work with EA cloud save? Thats the main reason I have EA. I want it to work with my windows pc, linux pc, steamdeck, and ayn thor (android ds handheld) Hopefully, thanks for all you've done tho!

Is emudeck 3.0 (or what is now considered 2.9) for Linux/Windows going to make it out the door before the end of the year? The 2.5 build has become exceptionally buggy post SteamOS 3.7 this Summer (especially cloud config in the EA client). Was hoping October would be the month but it sounds like the Android build is the core focus. Any new ETA?
I just heard today about the cloud config issue, working already on it!

Hello i have a question to ask u EmuDeck? Will emudeck be for android/samsung like it is on steam deck like when u download and get it started etc? I mean will it be exactly the same like on steam deck, but also for android/samsung?
