Special boxing mailbag episode
I guess this is a little bit of a condensed ‘getting to know…’ episode, but for all paid up members of the Combat Chronicles cult I am giving you an opportunity to contribute to an upcoming episode coming very soon!
I’ve been thinking of pound-for-pound and divisional boxing greats for decades at this point, but rather than having a defined top 300 I have instead focused on divisional rankings and bracketing P4P greats in certain tiers.
With that in mind, I want to talk about some fighters! All you have to do is tell me the name of a boxer you want ranked, and I will provide a brief summary of where I rank them on my all-time great list and why!
This is open to all paid up members, and entries close this coming Sunday!

IDK about pound for pound all time but I'd love to hear some love for Kenshiro Teraji considering his upcoming fight next week!
Laszlo Papp, James Toney, Juan Manuel Marquez, Manny Pacquiao
Erik Morales!! Maybe Georges Carpentier and Sonny Liston too, and Mike McCallum. Sorry man, idk how many we're supposed to list so I'm throwing a few out there
This stood out a mile in my emails, had to get involved - I am going to put 5 in don't mean to hog it so won't expect them all done! Pernell Whitaker, Willie Pep, Sam Langford, Benny Lynch, Jimmy Wilde - a couple of them would be good and some may get nominated by other people as well! Great idea this, cheers
