UFC 329
On this episode I try to make the case that this this was not an anti-climax but the inevitable demise of Conor McGregor. I also make a bold claim--that I completely believe--that you might find to be complete and utter horseshit. Let me know below which camp you fall into!

So, I really want to see Conor fight Michael Venom Page. It might be the funniest fight to make for me. Conor gets meme ko'd or loses the most boring decision. That's just me.
Great pod as always Kyle! This is completely unrelated but as I don’t have twitter anymore I thought I’d ask here, who’s the best Spanish boxer of all time in your opinion? Sandor Martin is the only name that even comes to mind for me but I am not well versed!
First and foremost, well done for leaving Twitter! I’d like to, but still need it as long as I’m doing this show! As for Spanish boxers that is a GREAT question. It’s strange that for such a sporting powerhouse and such a major world nation, Spain hasn’t really produced all that many truly ‘great’ boxers (even if fighters from Spanish speaking countries are amongst the best ever!) With that in mind I’d say Baltasar Sangchili is perhaps the best call, given the stacked era he fought in and the quality fighters he faced/beat.
It would’ve been more believable if McGregor had planted a banana on the stairs to the cage and slipped on it.
Well now it has transpired he was apparently seen at a medical clinic earlier this week? But they also showed him drilling the kick in the dressing room beforehand?!
The fact that they offered him Prates, he wanted Chandler, and they countered with Max, to me clearly shows they want to bury him. They knew he was doomed too, and just wanted to make sure he can't go to Netflix or something and promote stuff. Just like they tried with Nate and Khamzat, except that didn't go well. Great pod as always mate. And I agree with the take inasmuch as I don't think Conor thought he could win, versus him not wanting to fight at all. I don't think anyone serious thought he could win, and I am quite certain ge didn't either. It's a bit like Nick Diaz Robbe Lawler 2, Nick clearly didn't wanna be there either, but he sure put up a better fight. Once things got dicey, he still threw down until he got his shit rocked hard.
Great examples there. And by gawd can you imagine what Prates would’ve done to him?! If they wanted to bury him before they definitely will now, they hate people getting injured/ruining shows even if it’s totally legitimate!
