Would the Sun be poisoned by iron if the Earth crashed into it? What happens to a binary companion when a supernova goes off? Which rocket is my favourite? And in Q&A+, could JWST pay more attention to the little red dots?

I get Stargate, really I do...but did you actually watch the last two seasons?!? Ugh... what was that...? ;)

Reusability ( brings back memories, yes, hand to head) is always the best option, I think. I understand circumstances in which not being reused is the better option but so much is lost in expensive outer space due to a factor that could have been relatively easily serviced such as the Hershal Space Telescope coolant

Saturn V yep I watched the moon landings at school, those engines on the landers were also great, amazing to think that the landers were a really light weight cabin for the astronauts yet no-one died

Your comments regarding the Space Shuttle were really well-thought-out. My pick for "favourite rocket" would be the Sierra Space Dream Chaser, IF it were actually perfected sufficiently to lead to actual space flights. I also like the ISS itself. It is a remarkable space vehicle. BTW, WRT the term "politics", you do not need to apologize for your use of the term in this context. According to various sources, the term is applicable to civic engagement in society. QUOTE [Politics is also understood by some observers as] a particular way of resolving conflict, specifically through compromise, conciliation, and negotiation rather than through force or violence. On this reading, the essence of political activity is the peaceful management of disagreement. When rival groups with genuinely different interests sit down and hammer out a workable solution that nobody fully loves but everyone can live with, that is politics in its purest form END QUOTE C.f.: What is Politics? You call that political? Nothing to do with politics and everything to do with mass media entertainment. You are a reporter. You are a writer. Please do not misuse words applying definitions that are incongruous with their accepted definition. That — *that* — is what politicians do. They twist the truth by denying definitions to get a warped message across. I am disappointed. I don’t think I’ve ever used that word about anything to do with Universe Today.

Well, okay, I'll sign the petition for Stargate (I'm probably one of the few who appreciated the deeper muddier Star Gate Universe, but if I could only have one, I'd prefer an new Babylon 5 series....

Just thought I would mention that twice in this episode, you mentioned things that inspired songs by Rush. The space shuttle inspired “Countdown“ and your mention of Cygnus X1 was the name of a Rush song by the same name.
