Episode 34: Finally, A Fiat For Puppygirls
Hello! In this episode of Tran Girlismo, the girls talk about Stellantis... positively??? That's right, Stellantis unveiled six new concepts to demonstrate their styling and future product plans, and they actually kinda go.
All following images via Stellantis.
The girls then discuss the fact that they hate the white supremacist "concept" ""car"" and will not be discussing it as a serious thing. Please stop asking the girls what they think of it. Then, Jordan plays another video game (Project Motor Racing) and learns that sometimes even if nostalgia is bad, old stuff actually is just kinda better when new stuff is ass.
As always, our opening theme is off Stella Spazzatura's Horse Tranquilizer Simulator and our fantastic editor (who is available to edit your show, too!) is the lovely Alex/Harmful Park!
VICTORIA NOTE: Shirt/sticker update for people who have ordered! Some of them have been mailed, some of them are still in my living room; my wife and I are about halfway through the process. I apologize again for the delay, we have had a rough few weeks in my home and I am behind on basically all aspects of my life. These will be mailed out (although I have no idea in what order; we basically just pick whatever shirts are closest and send those), and I will not be handling merch in the future now that I have a full-time day job, but that obviously happened between me offering pre-orders and me actually getting the merch.
I deeply appreciate your patience and understanding while I catch up with everything, it has been a really rough time in my life. <3 Vicki

Gran Turismo was my gateway to French cars too. I love the vibe, the core products are cozy sensible 4-cylinder hatchbacks and vans, but when they want to make something special it's a hot hatch, or especially, an avant-garde executive car that's all-in on visual design and comfort. Refreshing versus American brodozers, muscle cars, ostentatious Cadillacs. Maybe it's because France is a transit-first society so cars aren't really self-extensions.
It's so funny to me that the v8 is the "masculine" engine. Like Damn, your pistons are in a v? Like a vagina? Like a woman, even??
I do not believe that neither of you know what happened on that date. I don't even go there and I knew whose birthday it was last week
I've got nothing

Shout out to The Exchange. I shudder to think about how much I've spent there, but I love it. Also, there are Exchanges in Pittsburgh? I thought that was a Northeast Ohio thing.
Oh my God RRR is so good! A guy sings a song and people riot. Indian cinema is generally pretty awesome, it's always a musical.
Is that an LED screen across the front of the Multiplay? Will it be advertising personal injury attorneys at the pedestrians it's running over?
The 2cv is cute but the old school logo and the hubcaps have such a "cheap 2000s plastic electronics" vibe that it makes the entire thing look like trash. It just seems like a worse version of the Renault 5 ev.
Sorry that F3ver concept looks absolutely hideous. When I saw it I literally said "baby, what have they done to you?". That's a hideous mutation on my car
Over the hill has been my favorite driving game lately. Offroading through the Algerian desert at night is an amazing vibe.
I like the 2CV concept because it’s the electric version of the 2CV, which was “what if we built a car anyone could drive after the apocalypse (ie WW2)” and it feels especially practical these days.
Keeping track of membership numbers has me noticing the slowdown of paid memberships tracks with the increase in fuel prices.
I like the nostalgiabait cars because i like the shapes of the cars from then but i dislike random details about them. Like standardised square headlamps that sometimes give cars charlie kirk face
I got my stickers today!! One shapes place sticker is on my sketchbook now and I'm thinking of places of honor for the rest!
Also a lot of these feel futuristic[not dystopia] to me and I'm so tired of futuristic[dystopia] that I'm automatically warm to them, even if they also make me feel old and baffled
Good news for Vicki illegally importing a 2cv, you might actually be able to charge it! https://electrek.co/2026/10/22/seattle-plans-200-curbside-ev-charging-stations-and-you-can-request-one/
IIRC, Celestial Seasonings is no longer run by that cult; cult dude retired in 2002 (though in 2024 he was still very involved in the cult) and now it's just an adherent to the bog standard cult of capital.
Yogi Tea on the other hand, still a cult
I do feel like we as a society need to figure out a way to separate personal versus societal nostalgia cuz it does seem a lot of the fascism is just demanding the government make them actually literally twelve in 1985 again. Like dawg you can just download ace combat electrosphere and play it all night drinking mountain dew you have the free will
I think Vicki was thinking of Zero Dark Thirty re:APCs, driving a 4Runner
The fiat multiplay is giving daft punk helmet
