Even though these were flesh and blood humans, history and time has a way of making it all feel like stone. The way you describe it all breathes life back into the people, anthropomorphizes the statues. There was a comment under one of your videos that stuck with me about how all the characters in the Iliad were probably in their late teens or early twenties. Hollywood never shows the baby faced soldiers choking on blood, but I guess it’s been that way the whole time. Anyways, thank you for sharing.

The video is great, but I must say your perspective on war is frighteningly american-centric. To be sure, you embody the American view on war to an incredible accuracy, but I just thought you should know that though your perspective is very deep, it is also very narrow. I think the best way to put it is that just like it's incredibly obvious that the conquistadors beliefs were... Of their culture... It is also incredibly obvious that your philosophy is very much of your culture. I won't be surprised if you are fully aware of this, but sometimes you can't see from the inside things that are obvious on the outside.
