FULL METAL JACKET | FULL LENGTH | MOVIE REACTION

I joined the United States Marine Corps in 2012, and I can say that physical contact was way down from what you see here. I can also say that even so it was pretty close to accurate. There was a lot more officers, but the attitude stayed the same. Looking back on it, all I can do is laugh. During, it was terrifying. They also like to surround you with three drill instructors at a time and make you feel alone against powerful people even if you have 100+ with you. It was surreal to experience, but helped me learn a lot.

The second half is brilliant, not boring. Its that the first half is a Masterpiece! Pt 1 davinci, pt 2 Pollock

Kubrick is the epitome of the word perfectionist when it comes to directing

Idk if hannah could handle Lone Survivor. 1917, Platoon or glory

Kubrick is widely considered one of the greatest and most influential directors of all time, His war films are definitely anti war films

Ash you definitely need to watch Lone Survivor! Another really good military flick

My girl was in the Marines, she loves this movie!

Ash. If you want to see a great war film and how we should not have ever been there in Vietnam, you gotta watch "Born on the 4th of July" with Tom Cruise . It's also a true story. One of Tom Cruise best performances of his career. 👌

Yeah, the drill sgt I think was a real drill sgt there too teach the actor how too do it, but he was so good they used him instead, theres a lil documentary on the guy who got replaced, he ended up playing the guy on the helicopter shooting saying "get some, get some" lol they kinda did him dirty though hah

If you want a war story from the other side. Letters from Iwo Jima is a must, ww2 japans side.

You should consider watching the rest of Kubricks films. One of the best filmmakers of all time.

His performance is legendary. Hilarious stuff.

The drill Sgt. Was a real drill Sgt. That's why he is so convincing and unfiltered.
