thank you for answering my question about the show’s creative process! i didn’t mean to imply that there is any sort of malicious intent in the way stories are presented so i apologize if my comment did seem to come across that way. my question came from episodes like Girl Meat Hunter from last year, where the story takes a big turn midway through and re-contextualizes everything and everyone involved. but having heard your explanations of how you’re walking the listener through the cases as if we’re there in the moment, i can see those episodes in a new light and appreciate the way you handle them. i think i might even go re-listen to some older ones i’d written off. thank you guys for your hard work, i know you put a lot of effort into every episode. have a wonderful day!

In regards to the Elisabeth Membrey case, I literally live in the same suburb and have never heard of it! I tried to find the house but it doesn't seem to exist in Ringwood East, only in Heathmont, but it might be that the suburb boundaries were moved. So sad, I hope the case gets resolved and the family get the justice they deserve.
