I have never seen a vote closer than this one. I know this because at times it would have been virtually impossible to be closer than this one.
It’s been crazy close, but I’ve never seen Animatronics ahead of the other one but for the very early days of the poll. I think other times I’ve seen it go back and forth.

No need for a run-off when we can vote for as many as we like. If we all only had one vote then it'd be a good idea, as it could be that one or other was lots of people's second choice, but as it is everyone who wants to vote for either has probably done so. So, a re-run should produce the same result. It is very strange - this happens quite a lot. Either one of the options jumps out to a huge lead, or two options will get about the same. However the strange thing is when there are two options neck & neck, the lead tends to remain small but consistent all the way from around 200 votes through to over 1,000. As with here - TV Show Jenny Doesn't Know has been a little under 20 votes ahead for almost the whole time. The thing I think is strange is that it's the numerical margin that stays solid, rather than a percentage. The percentage lead gets smaller & smaller as the overall number of votes gets bigger, and I'm not a psephologist so I can't explain that! (I'm sure it should be the other way around with a sample this size - the numerical margin getting bigger but the overall percentage staying about the same.) Ah well; perhaps it also has something to do with the fact that we can all vote for as many as we like 🤷♂️
Some say that giving us only one vote focused our minds, hearts, and wills, and that as a result, the One-Vote Rambles had more Purity and Truth. As the Rambles grew in potency, the Patreons' focus grew sharper and sharper, driving some to madness and collusion in pursuit of certain Topics, until Jenny wisely split the votes to fragments and saved us from ourselves.
I think we need a run off vote between abandoned animatronics and recapping a TV show jenny doesn't know
Was debating gifting patreon accounts to relatives that were subbed to Jenny to swing the vote for animatronics before I realized a) I can't afford it and b) that would probably mean I'm nuts. But I really need more of those reactions to animatronics. They were priceless. However, I nearly voted for the recap one. I feel like I'll never get the expert vid on planning Disney on different budgets, and really I just need the one for a poor person that went to the park at a 7 year old and has failed as an adult to make a child so now I just want to go for nostalgia's sake..

My old makerspace in Reno received a donation of an animatronic shark + a pallet of tubes, aluminum bars and controls that made the shark move from a Dolph Lundgren movie called Lake Shark that filmed up at Lake Tahoe. Unfortunately I only have around 3 photos of it and no video. They had him on display in the kitchen, I put a trucker hat on him, and I think he was missing a fin at this point. Eventually someone took Lake Shark to Burning Man and he was either lost or so severely damaged that he was thrown out. Never got to see him move (I think Lake Shark ran off an air compressor) and have no idea if it still functioned. He had soft, foam rubber teeth so I guess he could chew on a B-movie actor without causing damage. I'm guessing he was 5' long and just the upper half of a shark

For anyone who doesn’t know what Rankin/Bass is - they’re the company that produced all those stop motion Christmas television specials like Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer and Santa Claus is Coming to Town. Just thought I’d mention it since I personally am familiar with the shows, but definitely didn’t know the name of the production company.

i have adhd and live paycheck to paycheck because I live like Jenny's house but with Transformers and Video Games instead of plush(es?) and My Little Pony. (I guess because in the 80s/90s I did/do still identify as "boy"/"older, balder, fatter boy", respectively.) So in summary that is why I stan the Disney on different budgets topic for sure. But after the last vid I also had to vote for the abandoned animatronics if Jenny's nerves can take it!
More of Jenny reacting to abandoned animatronics sounds like a lot of fun! Jenny reviewing a movie or TV show she hasn't seen as if she's an authority on it sounds so crazy I don't really mind it winning. I only worry if she'll be able to sustain the premise over the full length of a ramble! I also voted for the plush topic out of loyalty.
Is non-video game a tabletop game?Or is it any game you play with friends that is not a video game? It seems like an interesting top topic because I love games that get everyone involved. But I am just not sure if that is what you mean. What is a non-video game?

watching Jenny freak out over the dragon and saying that all her nightmares as a child were about animatronics was a little bit of a shock to me, i was under the impression she loved them. Is the fascination more like Ryan Bergara’s fascination with ghosts? like how he’s made 2 shows devoted to hunting them but doesn’t want to ever actually see one.
She does love animatronics, but she also has submechanophobia, which is a fear of submerged human-made objects. So she loves them but seeing them abandoned or submerged in water freaks her out.

Just thought I should say, I suggested the animatronic topic, but I also included an alternative suggestion in case that one was too creepy or anything. Hopefully its inclusion on the poll means it wouldn't be too unsettling for Jenny! Also, in Jenny's ramble about her top 10 favorite Youtube videos, she included a video of a guy finding an abandoned dinosaur animatronic!
I'm feeling pretty confident that while that dragon and Merlin video freaked her out, she was also definitely interested in it. Should be fine as long as people aren't going inside moldy old animatronics.
