It doesn’t look like there’s much of a chance of the France trip becoming a ramble but there’s a silver lining for those of us who love Jenny theme park travelogue. She’s hinted that she might talk about the France trip and the Germany trip and the Epic Universe trip somewhere other than the rambles!

Agreed. I like voting for rambles that are both creative/fun and not fandom specific so everyone can really enjoy it. This one is great, gives Jenny a direction without needing tons of prep/research, a good low stress topic.

Prep time horror battles!
Already not doing too well this month. I might just retire that suggestion until Halloween season.
I dreamt it, I dreamt it! The "new version" of Friendship Is Witchcraft will be a live-action dramedy taking place in a wintry New York City during a zombie apocalypse. Potable water is difficult to find, so a lot of time is spent looking for ice out of ice machines, or freshly fallen snow, etc. Jenny plays the lead survivor in a lot of knit layers, sneaking through Brooklyn and Manhattan foraging for food and trying to keep quiet, so zombies don't notice her. During the pilot, there's a tense stand-off, where Jenny is stuck on top of a taxicab, next to an icy corpse, trying not to slip off as a small horde of the frosty dead lurch by. To keep her balance, she leans back against the corpse, who begins to talk! Jenny does a silent double-take, trying to shush her cab-top companion, whose face is covered by a sheet of ice, but he is fearless and bubbly, a friendly, sentient zombie voiced by Kevin Hart! ZOMBIE: "Heyyyyyy, I know you! You're Jenny, that living girl always looking for water!" JENNY: "L-l-living girl? Are you n-n-NOT...alive?" ZOMBIE: "You don't have to worry about me, Jenny... something about this cold, it froze my appetite, and I've just been looking for friends ever since I got back up! I can still talk to those dead ones though, but it's all gruuuugh...GRAAUWGH....gruuuuuch.... like that." As he talks, some of the zombies look up at them, but only to wave as they shamble past. ZOMBIE: "I told them you were with me, so maybe you'll have an easier time getting around town now." JENNY: "Wow, thanks! That would be a big help! So...what's your name?" ZOMBIE: "You know, I remember a lot from before, but I don't remember that... I guess I could be named anything." JENNY: "I've been looking for a friend, too, and because you've been so nice, I'd like to call you...'Sweetie Rot.'" Some dark clouds shift, so the ice mask over the zombie's face catches more sunlight and starts to look like a big smile. SWEETIE ROT: "'Sweetie Rot,' I like that! You still thirsty, Jenny? I know a whole food court nobody living has found yet...wanna see?" JENNY: "Would I ever! Let's go!" [END CREDITS] --------------------------- I've polished the above material *slightly*, but I swear to God, all the basic emotional beats happened in a dream I just woke up from this morning.
