I've been editing this video out of order because the beginning was one of the last parts to be written, but I think this consecutive chunk is self explanatory enough! This is parts 4 through 6 (out of 20)

The spice interstitial is the funniest thing I’ve ever watched
I'm def one of the people who said it doesn't look star wars-y enough. Then you brought up the prequels and I realized I'm just old and the ship design is fine. *conflicted feelings* lol
Idk why this is what I'm stuck on but the fact that you had to physically write down your address to then by typed into a computer at all is crazy for a company like disney. Having guests verify their info is super basic stuff
As someone who’s flown Spirit several times recently, they don’t charge extra for a purse unless you already have another bag. You get one “personal item,” which can be basically a purse, a backpack or a messenger bag. I only bring it up because to makes the point stronger that even Spirit is less stingy than Disney appears to be.
I adore the star cruiser vlogs so it’s neat to see the footage in the finished product!
This legit makes me wonder if they were planning to just refit the hotel into like a budget hotel if/when it failed, so they couldn't do floor level screens (pain to remove) and fewer droids and expensive accoutrements lol

Something I just noticed that I thought hilarious. You stand outside for 40 minutes waiting for a contrived elevator ride to simulate a transport pod as you go up a single floor.....then they immediately walk you back down a flight of stairs to get to your room.
i was howling at the fan film footage! so excited for this one and i'm crossing my fingers for another original-ish song for the end credits (jizz, of course)
every single time i rewatch i forget that the fan film is coming and i get scared but it's so good....I WANT TO BE ERASED!! there's so much spice too i can't btw haven't seen anyone else point it out but there's a brief moment of a blank screen in the video, maybe on purpose but just in case i thought i would point it out: 19:24-19:28ish

If a room was supposed to fit 5 full adults, does the shame closet fit them all? Doesn't look like it...
I wonder if they're ADA compliant. In the vlog footage one of the guests is in an electric wheelchair and I have no idea if a shame closet would accommodate a wheelchair let alone a wheelchair and several people
I wonder if a big man would fit in the shame closet, perhaps to hide strategically.

(Yes I am totally thrilled for this preview but) I do not get what in the world the fan film guy was doing. Pretending his character spilled some space cocaine? Did the bathroom lights flash like that by themselves or did the filmer guy actually mess with the hotel lights? Is this supposed to be funny or a dramatic. Is this really the only fan footage of that bathroom? I am.......lost

The Shame Closet REALLY freaks me out in concept. I would hope (though not assume) that Disney heavily researched the survivability of them in case of fire… but if I’m in a fire in a hotel with no fire escapes, I’m going to start having a panic attack. If that happens, I’m probably going to feel a little claustrophobic. Especially if I’m in there with up to four other friends or family.
If the worst happens, just think of it as a bonus! You'll be sent home in commemorative Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru cosplay.

10:46 I remember you said somewhere that you're trying not to film kids and if they do appear in camera, it's important for you blur them (which is understandable of course), so there I noticed at the bar there are 2 faces that need to be blurred- one kid wearing a blue shirt in the left center side of the frame and another kid sitting right to him. Anyway, great stuff and that fan film is gonna hunt my dreams- "I WANNA BE EARASED" lmao

That hotel hallway at 24:45 is giving off storage unit vibes, if there was a guy loading a bunch of cardboard boxes into one it wouldn't look out of place
So it was $12k for the two person weekend trip? That is unjustifiable. It’s like they knew they only had 1 year to recoup construction costs or something.
Disney used to be the creative outlet of a very talented businessman who had his name on the sign and a reputation to uphold. It has been corrupted into a minimum service/maximum profit commercial interest. They are consuming the goodwill and reputation that Walt Disney spent decades maintaining to generate cash flow.
Thinking about how this is like the same cost or more as a 7 day cruise in the same shitty tiny windowless room but yeah on a 7 day cruise you are getting a lot more amenities so is the immersive experience equivalent to the open bar, gourmet restuarants, pools, sight seeing, etc
How on earth were they allowed to build an hotel with no fire escapes? Had there been a fire it would have been a disaster. Which local authority approves a development that replaces legislated fire escape protocols with death cupboards?
I assume this is par for the course in Florida.

I wasn't sure what to expect with one of these previews, given that I only joined your Patreon a year ago and this is the first time I'm seeing you kind of assemble a video in real time, from the original two footage videos you posted to now a preview of the final video, but I kind of wondered if by the time you post the finalized version of the video I would have no surprises left to enjoy in the story. But this really proved me so wrong! There's already so much more and I'm more excited than ever to see it. Thanks for giving us a taste! Your work has seen me through hard times and this has already buoyed me.

I thought the comparison to cruise ships rooms was super interesting, because cruise ships are extremely cognizant of their limited space and try their best to plan around it. They lift their beds so suitcases can be put underneath it, they cram storage in hidden compartments, basically everywhere they can. So it seems crazy that they decided to make cruise ship size rooms without learning any of the lessons on how to maximize that space when they operate a cruise line

Fitting to open with episodes 4-6, seems the right move. Last year I had a room on a Royal Caribbean cruise that was about that size... for like $900 Canadian for a full WEEK. (Plus alcohol and internet but that did not cost $2000) US$3000 for two days does feel steep. Loving it so far, ready for the whole cruise!

Ten mins in and my immediate thought is how badly the necessities of a hotel clash with any kind of fun immersion. Like having to have a cereal bar and goldfish crackers and stuff in the lobby is so uncool from a Star Wars perspective. Hotels are just where you wait around and sleep. They are the place you stay at while waiting to go do your actual activity.
