S3E11: Red Dragon (not that one)

This week, we're joined by Alex Ptak from the podcast Quorators to discuss another German spy movie.

Remember a few episodes ago when we realised that the director was an architect of the french new wave? This is the same except we find out that the director invented a new kind of child pornography.

"sinister ümppa" was a whole-ass phrase, I don't know why nobody recogizes.

Please do 'The Wrecking Crew!' - Elderly Dean Martin and the international conspiracy to give him blue balls. There is a Femme Fatale from Hong Kong named Wen Yu Rang.

I mean it's one of the most stunningly stupid and misogynistic movies I've ever seen in my life...but it's so right up your street!

Very funny if the hitman could never commit the pictures to memory and had to keep holding them up for reference before taking the shot

The actor playing Cunty Steve McQueen, Sieghardt Rupp, has an amazing Wikipedia photo, worth looking up. Literally the only rights-cleared photo they could find of him was… well, look it up

Would it work if I begged you to do a good film like, say, Grosse Pointe Blank? Please?

I saw Lucy Dacus live when she was opening for Carseat Headrest in Minnesota. Right after her first album dropped. Surreal af to hear her mentioned by brits.

I feel like this episode went from KJB to KYS for a bit

Keeping a movie to 90 minutes is a sure fire way to make it like 1.5 stars more enjoyable. I watched Underwater recently, the Kristen Stewart action/survival/horror movie, which was okay but more importantly was a brisk 86 minutes.

The giggle fit from Alice after hearing Devon's "The Hitless Run" bit genuinely cheered me

Outstanding job lads The trio behind the classic 2021 Podcast: Kill James Bond, does not disappoint, nor would you have ever expected them to. Just another day on the most compelling show on the internet.

Going to need a drop of that noise someone made after Alex said "parents hate to know this".
