ok ive gotta say that abi's comment about bond getting points on his license to kill is the funniest fucking thing ive ever heard, im imagining bond having to go on a killing test with a murder instructor, getting minor faults for not getting the little spinning 007, major fault for not exploiting disability, eventually his license to kill has a little diagram on the bottom showing all the methods of execution hes legally allowed to use

The Xenia boss fight is quite a bit different in the movie than in the game.

See I always found not letting this bond have an Irish accent was more than just because he could do an English accent. Always struck me that it would have been a BOLD statement in the mid 90's to have the iconic agent of the British state be Irish what with everything going on in the north of Ireland

I unironically like this movie. It has the best villain AND best hench(wo)man. I don't know how knockoff 006's and Xenias didn't become the new standard after this. Instead we're still getting knockoff Blofelds and Red Grants. I don't even mind the hypocrisy much, because I figure it's less on this movie for setting up that Bond is outdated and bad than it is on later Brosnan/Craig movies for never doing anything about it.
