Chiming in on the "Is it Bond-ish" theme I would argue that The Incredibles is very Bond despite it being a superhero movie. The villain's lair, the music, the way they sneak into the facilities, the big plan to kill a bunch of people and show up as a hero... so if you are ever in the mood for it...

Regarding transphobia in Austin Powers: I remember the problem scenes from the first movie but were the second and third as bad? I know that it's a natural fit for the podcast but could a compromise be watching the less problematic sequels (if that's the case) or skipping the upsetting scenes in the 1st movie?
