I hate to break the magic, but I have not and will never watch an episode of Bones, but I will listen to every episode of this podcast. So "45 minutes of chaos" is a perfect listening experience. You could genuinely invent new fake Bones episodes and I wouldn't blink.
I keep coming back to this one. Best episode!
I laughed so hard my 1yo child thought there was something wrong
Y'ALL
This is pure gold, a perfect thing. You can't design for quality like this.
Okay, this was amazing.
If it snows in winter then how can climate change be real? If it's currently night-time how can the sun exist? EDIT: I've been looking forwards to the episode the ding-dong happens during the breakfast update, but apparently I lacked the imagination to even conceive of a greater acheivement: the ding-dong happening during the outro that happens before they get to the A plot, lol. This deserves a trophy for Most Boney Island Whitefish.
As for climate change yeah seriously I don't think I've recently heard a reactionary say it's bs, I think most have noticed that it's true and they've all shut the fuck up about it. I lived in Florida and they ran out of names for tropical storm systems because they name them alphabetically. In 2018 a record-breaking hurricane hit and destroyed our town, the strongest hurricane in a century. There's snow in florida. That hasn't happened since 1991. It's 75° in December and 20° a week later
I have a Roth IRA with mid-five figures in it, and I have really been thinking about just cashing it out so I have money. I'm not confident in the economic future and God do I need money now. Also I own Publix stock that just did a four-way split so I could put all my eggs in that basket
My sandwich heavy portfolio allows me to watch games as games and not set myself up with expectations
This morning I made some French toast and vegan sausage patties, which I suppose is a slightly less deconstructed version of the scrambled eggs and toast I had last week.
I hope every "How can global warming be real if cold out??" motherfucker dies in like an off-season snowstorm or something
I laughed way too hard at this comment. Ty
Is new coke a spite food?
This has made me think: Fanta. Nazi spite food
I feel the need to point out that the band Seeming has a song called talk about bones. Not the show obviously, but much to think about
Polenta for breakfast is pretty common in a lot of the US, they are just wearing their grits hat
I was just thinking that. As someone from north Florida, I vote for savory grits with butter and salt, not sugar. Sweet gruel is for oatmeal
Redletter Media shouted out that "all your friends hate you" horror movie
No, give us the WTYP length whitefish episode
Seconded.
Surprisingly little bones on this bone, but I look forward to giving it another gnaw
I rate this episode 10 out of 10 bones, a real sloppy skeleton of an episode.
Seinfeld 'not there's anything wrong with that' hands up
I appreciate that every week this podcast is becoming truer to its design - a chance to razz your friends about their breakfast choices and yap vaguely inspired by something you experienced this week
CANADA MENTION - whooping and cheering at everyone's reactions to our ridiculous political theatre. Sitting in mildly abject horror as the last 6 years flash past my eyes during the COVID and climate change conversations
I refuse to accept that the snowball bit was from as late as 2015. Great episode, I learned a lot.
Amazing. I am mazed. This was some mazey shit.
I looked at the runtime and as the gold conversation started it it kinda dawned on me that there was no way in hell they were gonna cover the full episode, I mean, well played for still uploading it.
Boney Island Whitefish remains my highest priority listen in the Kill James Bond / Trashfuture podverse. Thanks for this quirky side project ❤️
