We were on Trashfuture!
This week, the full three of us were on the Trashfuture podcast to talk about the Cass Report, a recent inquiry into trans healthcare that recommends that it should be made much, much worse. Would you believe it's a heap of poorly-sourced and pseudoscientific shit?
Listen to us dismantle it by tuning in to 'The Devon Report ft. Kill James Bond', wherever you get your podcasts!

I'm so sorry and The Devon Report should absolutely be filed next to the Dawn Foster Wes Streeting memo. I'm ancient now, I'm a cis woman in my fifties and there have always been trans people. Attitudes to LGBTQ people and our rights have been drastically improving over my lifetime and I don't know why we're being cunts now. It fucking sucks.
It's because pointing to an internal enemy is a very effective political strategy, and trans people are the current target du jour. I sincerely think that most of the politicians playing the transphobia card don't genuinely believe we're a danger, it's purely about the political gain. This kind of thing has been done with many minority groups in the past. It's always the same general rhetoric, just with a different scapegoat.
