For many, this is going to be a voyage into uncharted territory. Cervical orgasms might be something you’ve never heard of. Or it might be a bit of a unicorn. You've heard about them, but you're not sure if they're real. Someone may have even told you that they weren't real (which is really the worst option on this list).
Cervical stimulation can sound a little scary. Maybe you’ve steered clear because of inexperience, shame, or a past trauma (IUD insertion anyone). But if you (or your partner) have made it here, congratulations. You’ve done the hardest part. You've deciding to be a curious human. Many never get that far.
Even if you don't go any further than reading this guide and watching the video, you will still leave with a deeper understanding of how the female body works. And that's pretty cool!
Let’s get started.
The Cervix (Doorway to the Uterus)
What it is:
The cervix is the lower, narrow part of the uterus, sitting at the very top of the vaginal canal like a guarded nightclub entrance. It’s about 2–3 cm across, with a central opening (the os) that’s usually closed except during ovulation, menstruation, or childbirth.
Why it’s worth your attention:
It’s wired into the nervous system in a way that bypasses some spinal cord pathways — stimulation can trigger sensations that feel deeper, more full-body, and sometimes out-of-body.
Cervical orgasms are often described as rolling waves of pleasure, rather than the sharp, localized peaks of clitoral stimulation. Some compare it to a deep bass note vibrating through the whole body versus the high-pitched “ping” of a clitoral orgasm.
The nerve network(s) involved:
Vagus nerve – Unique because it transmits cervical sensation directly to the brainstem without going through the spinal cord. This means even women with spinal cord injuries can potentially experience cervical orgasms.
Pelvic nerve – Handles signals from the vagina and cervix through the sacral spinal cord.
Hypogastric nerve (Utero Vaginal Plexus) – Carries deep pressure sensations from the cervix and uterus to the brain.
Dorsal nerve of the clitoris – Sometimes indirectly engaged if positions stimulate both clitoris and cervix together.
The Psychology of a Cervical Orgasm
Before we get into the how, let’s be blunt: If your mind isn’t in it, then the rest of this is all for naught.
Mental state is crucial because:
The cervix is highly sensitive to stress. Tension in the pelvic floor can make stimulation feel uncomfortable or even painful.
The pathway to a cervical orgasm often requires a longer runway — sometimes 10–20 minutes of warm-up before it’s even receptive to touch.
Emotional safety and trust with your partner are NON-NEGOTIABLE. This is the kind of orgasm that happens when your brain says, "We are safe. We are good. Let’s go there.”
What helps mentally:
Being in a space where you won’t be interrupted. Nothing kills a vibe faster than the sound of a roommate or kids knocking on your door asking you what all the noise is about.
Knowing your partner will listen if you say “too much” or “don’t stop.”
Relaxation rituals such as, deep breathing, music, dim lighting may help the mood.
Some find that a bit of erotic storytelling, dirty talk, or extended eye contact primes the psychological side.
The Physiological Warm-Up
This is not “get in, get out type of encounter. This is slow-cooking the nervous system until it's at the brink and then pushing it gently over the edge.
Why you need it:
The vaginal canal lengthens and the cervix draws upward during arousal (aka the tenting reflex). Without this, direct contact can be unpleasant or painful. The exact oposite of what we are looking for.
Warm-up sequence:
Start with external play — clitoris, labia, inner thighs, lower belly.
Build arousal until there’s obvious lubrication and pelvic tension has dropped.
Keep communication open! Your partner needs to be aroused, relaxed, and feel safe. That combo is key.
Recheck lubrication – Cervical stimulation without enough wetness can feel like sandpaper on a sunburn. It's okay to use something from the store. That can take some of the pressure off during the session.
Anatomy Check: Where the Cervix Actually Is
If the vagina is a hallway, the cervix is the locked door at the very end. It’s the lower end of the uterus, sitting right at the top of the vaginal canal. When you’re feeling for it with your fingers:
Depth: Usually 3–4 inches inside from the vaginal opening, but this can vary from 2–5 inches depending on anatomy and arousal.
Feel: Firm but slightly springy, with a small dimple or slit in the center (that’s the cervical opening, or os). People often compare it to the tip of your nose in texture.
Position:If the person is lying on their back, the cervix usually sits toward the back wall of the vagina (angled slightly toward the spine).
If they’re on hands and knees, the cervix may tilt forward a bit. The cervix is not welded in place and it can shift up and down depending on arousal, menstrual cycle phase, and body position. During high arousal, it tends to lift slightly and move away from the vaginal opening. How to find it with fingers:
Insert one or two fingers into the vagina, palm facing up or down depending on partner’s anatomy.
Follow the natural curve of the canal — don’t try to force your fingers in a straight line.
Keep going until you feel the firm, rounded structure at the far end. That’s your target. The Entry
Wash your hands. Your not scrubbing for surgery, but no one likes surprise bacteria in their hoo-ha.
Trim and Files your Nails- jagged edges are the sworn enemy of the vaginal wall.
Slide one or two well-lubed fingers inside, palm facing up, and let them rest inside for a few seconds so your partner adjusts. This also helps you feel for the natural angle of the vaginal canal.Finding the Target
The cervix sits at the top of the vaginal canal and feels firm yet springy, like the tip of your nose.
Depth: Usually 3–4 inches in, but varies based on anatomy and arousal.
Angle: Sometimes straight ahead, sometimes tilted toward the back or front — take your time exploring.
When you find it, don’t jab. Gently cup it with your fingertips or press in slow, steady motions.First Contact Technique
Because the cervix can be sensitive (especially at first), start with minimal pressure. Try:
Gentle tapping — rhythmic, slow, and light.
Slow circles — as if you’re polishing something delicate.
Press-and-release — firm contact for 2–3 seconds, then let off.
You’re watching for positive reactions like deeper breathing, moans, pelvis tilting toward your hand. If you get a sharp inhale and or any verbal indications of pain back off immediately.
Layer It Up
Cervical stimulation often works best paired with other pleasure zones:
Use your other hand for clitoral or nipple play.
Alternate between deep touch and lighter internal strokes to keep the nerves guessing (in a good way).
The Position Playbook (Penis or Toy)
Some positions make cervical access way easier and more comfortable:
Missionary with hips tilted (Pictured Below) – Pillow or wedge under the lower back changes the angle so penetration reaches the cervix without excessive pressure on the front wall.
Doggy style (angled upward) – Tilting hips so penetration aims slightly upward can make cervical contact more direct.
Cowgirl or reverse cowgirl – The receiving partner controls depth and angle, which is gold for comfort and precision.
Deep spooning – Great for slow, sustained contact. Works well if partner’s hips are pulled back slightly.
Pro tip:
The key is not POUND TOWN! ” It's touch, linger, release, repeat. Direct hammering can shut down arousal.
The Technique
Approach with caution: When unaroused, cervix contact can feel sharp or even nauseating.
Pressure over poking: Use firm, slow pressure instead of repeated stabs.
Combine with other stimulation: Many find cervical orgasms happen faster when paired with clitoral, nipple, or full-body touch.
Pause for reactions: If partner tenses, slow down. If their voice drops an octave and they start swearing like a sailor, you might be close.
Signs You’re Getting Close
Partner’s breathing slows, deepens, or goes ragged.
Muscles tremble or relax completely.
Sudden emotional response — tears, laughter, or a dazed “holy sh*t.”
Deep, rolling pelvic contractions rather than quick clitoral spasms.
Troubleshooting
It’s uncomfortable:
More warm-up.
Change angle/position.
Switch to indirect stimulation.
Switch to fingers or a toy.
Can’t reach it:
Use positions with more penetration depth.
Try a curved toy designed for cervical touch.
Fingers are always an option.
No (cervical) orgasm after 30+ minutes:
This is totally normal. Some people never get there, or it takes multiple sessions. Enjoy the journey. And the stops you may have along the way.
Aftercare
After a cervical orgasm, the body can feel wrung out like a well-used dishcloth. Emotional vulnerability can spike.
Do:
Hold, cuddle, stroke hair.
Offer water.
Allow them to talk or be quiet without pressure.
Don’t:
Make jokes about “finally getting there” unless you’re 100% sure they’ll take it as a compliment.
Immediately go back to your phone.
Withdraw, roll over and go to sleep, or run off to the bathroom.
The Recap,
Patience
Foreplay.
Communication
Lube. Lots of lube.
Low and slow is the way to go.
Have Fun
You're NOT broken if you can't get there.

I tried this on my wife after reading this article and she really loves it I learned something thank you.
What if you had a hysterectomy?
What if the male does not ejaculate often from blow jobs with hand action or penetration vaginal or anal? What is the science behind this and how does alcohol affect this?
Is stimulation of the cervix or uterus what causes the orgasm from anal sex?
Does having an IUD affect this?
I am def a Cervi-girl! Found while exploring and I find going deep then rocking (not bumping) gets me there. I was out of commission for 15 mins after that full body orgasm.
We accidentally discovered it during a deep penitration and we both enjoyed it very much. Thank you for the article. I found my answers here.
I will confirm everything written here. I figured this out by accident while teaching my body something else, then I find this gem of an article. Thanks Josh! Achieving a cerv. org., what works for me is putting it as part of multi orgasm show, because so many of the factors (warm-up, stimulation areas activated, sensory, sensitivity, relaxation/mood, natural lubricant, focus) are already setting the sage. BUT ensuring it's not the first act up (for me) as I come in way to 'hot' (can be a bit anxious, over excited ((be cool)) or not feeling patient) for the first act, yet by the second or third + act, I've calmed down and found my stride. Honestly this is an amazing experience on so many levels. I'm on an 'enrichment' mission and have data on things I'm learning or teaching myself, and noted I've experienced a cervical orgasm that lasted 7min 10 seconds. Be kind to yourself(s), learning is hard. DO IT 10 out 10 - no notes! Cheers, Renee
Is indirect cervical stimulation what causes the orgasm from anal sex?
I can’t play this
It’s age restricted. You have to be signed into YouTube so it can insure your over 18. It’s change Google made over the last few months.
A few months before I started seeing your shorts (videos on FB, not misplaced boxers), my wife and I started doing this. It's usually a main event thing because of how long it can last for her, and her being a quiet person in general, seeing how it transforms her demeanor is too much for the smaller head to bear, and it's over. I have rough hands, so digital entry doesn't work for us, but by the time we get to the piv part, the slimy donut is dying for the stimulation.
im a cervical girl...
Yippee! Cervi girls unite ;-)
This is great!
So no matter what I do it won't play it for me
Very interesting and well written. Having been an orgasm donor for many years, my partners found my knowledge very stimulating and relaxing. I still remember my wife's reaction to the results of our first make-out session. To this day, I still speculate that she never had an O before, but she still claims that they just had not been with someone else. Now to explore how body parts are interconnected, one of the biggest is how nipples are wired to the reproductive tract, in women, causing uterine contractions (stimulation, during arousal, during sex, post coitus, or nursing{post child birth, was one we learned in the hospital})
This is spot on! But mine is way up there… like 5-7inches. We figured this out last year! It’s been life changing for us both because it’s so sensual! He loves that he’s directly causing a deep “make me see explosive bright white” orgasm! Once I’m in that state, I beg for pound town! Id say my most intense O ever was from doing this!
I had no idea. Thank you.
What if u have had a hysterectomy? If the cervix is gone, is this no longer achievable?
I had a hysterectomy 2 years ago and haven’t had this unicorn (that’s what I call it) orgasm since. If there is a way to get it back I’d love to know!
Good article. There is a video, though, right? My link has not worked. I’ve tried rebooting the app and going to the patreon website too.
seems you’re the perfect guy to ask, does the inches of the penis matter
Very informational! I love your posts! I have a question. Kinda weird buuuttt are urethral orgasms a thing? How does that work? I heard about it a while back and I’m so confused as to how that is possible 🤔
Gave it a go and realized I’ve already been doing this! I don’t really experience cervical pain ever, which is nice
Thank you.
Very good and informative article, thanks
Well put and thoughtful piece
Together with clitorical stimulation its the quickest and best most satisfying orgasm. But you have to be very aroused for it or will feel like a knife stabbing you..haven't decided yet if the cervix is a blessing or a curse lol
This is my experience as well. It can be stabby or explosively good. Just gotta make sure you’re very very warmed up first!
I don't even know if this would work for me because I've had a LEEP procedure
I'll probably never get to try that, put kudos for putting so much work into this post! Thank you
