Release v1.0.4
All good things must come to an end.
For me, it doesn't really feel like an end, since I always planned to create another seven days from Daniel's perspective but that's beside the point. No, v1.0.3 will be the last time we hear from Steve for a while. And let me tell you, day seven ends with a real banger. Just looking at the image above that comes with this release note reminds me of how far this game has come.
Before I go down that sentimental road, I should probably stop myself, and tell you about this release, right? Well, it does finish the stories of Jenny, Marie, Izzy, and Lena. That's pretty much a given. But it also goes ahead and answers a bunch of questions that were raised during the week. This release doesn't shine with a bunch of sex scenes as v0.6 did but rather it shines on the storytelling front.
Another thing is, that since I tried to get Playing With Fire onto Steam, I researched achievements and how to implement them. And now that the game probably won't find its way onto Steam, I'm left with a bunch of achievements and no way to use them. Ha, that's false. With v1.0.3 there is a new menu tab called 'Achievements' where you can view the ones you've unlocked so far. I hope it gives players an additional incentive to explore the game.
I need to give you a fair warning. There is one Achievement that is almost impossible to get. It's called '???', and I would go so far as to say that there is no one who will be able to get it without cheating. Still, it's not impossible. I will share everyone that sends me a screenshot of the unlocked '???' achievement via social media. Just tweet at me or mention me inside your Insta-story. I'll see it.
So, what's actually in this release?
