🚀 Introducing Vocabulary — a New Level of Language Learning on Playphrase.me

I’ve just rolled out a major upgrade to the phrase-learning experience, and today I’m excited to introduce something many of you have been asking for: Vocabulary — a brand-new tab now available on Playphrase.me.
(For now it’s English-only and available on desktop.)

This feature was built on top of every single word in our database, all processed through AI to create a powerful new way to explore and learn vocabulary.

🔍 Smarter Filters, Better Learning

You can now filter words by:

• Language level: A1 to C2

• Domains: music, business, education, science, and many more

• Slang or offensive language

• Part of speech

And that’s just the beginning.

I also added four sorting modes. The default is overall usefulness, but you can also sort words specifically for:

• Tourism

• Business

• Everyday conversations

Choose your goal, set your filters, and the most valuable words for your situation rise straight to the top.

🧠 Rich Word Profiles

Each word comes with detailed additional information, including:

• Domains it belongs to

• Lexical family

• Common collocations

• Register

• And more you’ll discover as you explore

Plus — examples, verb forms, and plural forms are clickable, letting you instantly view real usage examples from movies and series. Every example is also marked with how many times it appears in the database.

🔮 What’s Coming Next

This is just Version 1.

Very soon, I’ll release an even more advanced update where each word will have multiple meanings depending on its part of speech and the domain in which it's used. (Yes — true contextual meanings.)

I’m also preparing:

• Full mobile support

• Vocabulary for other languages
