Pure 3.04
With Pure 3.0, I started testing it on Linux systems along with CSP release and development builds. I did a lot of tests and benchmarks and with the newest CSP 0.3p110 AC + CSP is running great in my preferred Linux distros (Bazzite 42 (KDE) and CachyOS (KDE)). At the moment I'm working on an easy-to-use install tutorial video, which shows how you install Bazzite or CachyOS and how you must install AC, Content Manager, CSP and Pure.
After a dozen test installs I achieved a 100% working sequence to have a fully running AC/CSP/Pure in their latest versions.
With the ongoing development of Pure I will always test all those components, and maybe one day I can fully switch to Linux. For now I still have to find out how VR and HDR are working for AC under Linux.
I will start a new Linux corner in the Pure Discord so more and more information can be gathered to support a Windows alternative.

hello, ive tried every way of putting pure on CM and whenever i tried to extract the four files to root but they didnt do anything to the weather fx settings in custom shaders patch (only showed default) now when i tried dragging it onto CM it put it in weather fx settings and i was able to select it as pp filter and all that finally, but in game it just flashes when i use pure gamma and says filter not activated in pure lcs, ive seen you telling people to follow the video and extract but it didnt do anything when i did (and i deleted everything to do it twice) and 7zip doesnt show up when i select the four files, please help

dear peter i've just downloded pure and i have a problem my PC can't handle it. I have a 1660ti and I7 3770 i know it's pretty old but i had it running just fine with sol i had about 80 fps. Is there a fix to it or i need to uprgade my computer. By the way sol and pure are really good.

No, there is no performance with the lowres version. You just have low res skydomes then.

Pure is a weatherFX script. WeatherFX is a module of CSP. Other modules of CSP are lightingFX, extraFX and so on. So CSP is the big library which brings all the advanced stuff for AC. Pure is an additional packages which uses weatherFX to improve the weather and graphics way further.

Pure has nothing to do with rain and wet roads. It will come with a CSP preview version from Ilja Jusupovs Patreon. If you already have a CSP preview please contact No Hesi and ask them about the support for it…

Just installed it but when i go in game i get a black screen... I can open the config app and can hear my car revving but i dont see the track
Do you use the "pure" ppfilter? You can also try to reset your CSP settings: Goto /Documents/Assetto Corsa/cfg/ rename the "extension" folder to something different. Restart CM. It will create a new "extension" folder. You can restore it later. Select Pure as weather style again in CSP weatherFX settings.

Just got Pure set up and I love it, overall its amazing and Im just learning the full potential of Pure, only problem Im having sort of is I get a CPU Utilization 99% message at the top of my screen off and on sometimes. Looked up some fixes but they didnt solve the issue, and yes this just started after I got Pure and everything installed so not sure what to do. Anyways Im happy with Pure!
In Pure Config app, did you change the quality settings (the 4 colored buttons)? If so, please leave it at medium
Im having tons of issues ive tried 7 zip ive tried reinstalling everything watched ur videos multiple times when i get into game the pure pp doesn't work sometimes the pure config shows its on but when it wants me too activate it with full flash its just flashing and wont allow me too proceed and when it doesn't do that its telling me too follow the list of steps ive done it multiple times none of my pure planner works in no hessi im only able too use the pure planner in offline mode im at a complete loss please help me

Hello, I might be in a wrong place with this question but I hope there are plenty of knowledgeable people around. I'm using the latest Pure with CSP. No matter what PP filter I use, the distance is being blurry, as if affected by some kind of DoF effect. This happens even if I turn the DoF off in the CM (in Video settings). I've been searching high and low for any ways to turn this effect off but no success so far. It happens with any filter, both on Gamma and LCS. It is quite annoying because I have issues to notice brake reference points in a distance :D
Open the photo mode app and see if the focus checkbox is unchecked. Maybe you also use extraFX in CSP settings and its TAA option. If so, deactivate it…

I've successfully installed Pure 3.04 and the hotfix. When I ran Pure 2.57 the Pure Config script would auto load. Now with Pure 3.05 I have to manually load the Pure Config script whenever I start a race. Is there a setting in 3.05 I'm missing? I'm also running lights-patch-v0.3.0-preview140-full.

I downloaded and followed the video but when I change the presets or load them in pure config in game it flickers the Pure but it flickers back to the normal AC filter/weather right away

Hi, I installed this version of PURE and the latest CSP. I can no longer launch AC; it crashes or restarts my PC. I've tried everything: reinstalling AC, updating NVIDIA drivers, and different versions of CSP and PURE. I even tested my PC with OCCT and other programs. I don't have any other problems with other games. Can anyone help me?
yeah same problem here basically the game has to make a new csp that supports the paid csp which is 3.0 im not 100 percent sure but that what i believe

Sorry for my English and maybe that stupid question : When there is a new version of Pure, I don't really what to do because I have downloaded Mods of Cars and Tracks so the folder "Content" have been modifed (Helmets, Teams have been added in it). So, the question is : when there is a new version of Pure, can I replace only new files instead of the complete "Content" folder ? Concerning other folders like "Apps,Extension and System" and other files : can I drag and drop them directly in Assetto Corsa Folder without risking to erase things I have downloaded ? In Windows if you extract the 4 folder to your AC rrot folder, it will ONLY replace the older files Pure files. It will NOT delete or replace ANY other files! So just do the install like shown in the video... DO NOT drag'n'drop them! Use 7zip app and its Extract button!!!

When I install pure everything seems to work until I open pure planner to change the weather and it instantly changes to clear skies and I can't change the settings at all even with the new csp and pure weather activated within the game.

For everybody! Normally you use this on Windows, but i additionally check it on Linux too. And i made a full install tutorial for Linux Bazzite + AC + CM + CSP + Pure. So it works on both Windows and Linux...
Hi. Coming back to AC, CSP and Pure after a year or so. I have an issue accessing the Pure menu settings on the far right of the view in VR. In flat screen I see it fine, but in VR is seems either the cursor cannot move to very far right to get the pop out menu, or its entirely missing. Is there a workaround for this?
I have this same issue. It also has an issue with click and hold functionality for the cursor. Like if i'm adjusting seating position you have to click it 1000 times instead of just holding the button.
love the work so far,just something i noticed in comments,i tryed yesterday to DL 3.04 but Mega would stop on like 10% or so,tryed few times,other link works like it should. Also, i see there is a fix for error for reflections if on static,i use 1 face,but when i tryed static pure config still gives same error. Its not something i really care just wanted to see is there any performance gain from 1 to static,but error is still there on 3.04 atleast for me. keep it up man. thanks
Pure does not work with static reflections! So you must set it to 1 face or higher.

I've installed this with the lights patch - but everything looks dark. Trying to change daylight multiplier in pure config works for a second then it goes back

I did all this it just blinks over and over when I use pure gamma and it destorys my frames but when I use LCS is keeps my frames but says there that pure is not running idk what to do.

Great update, Peter! Just one thing. In HDR, my bloom/glare is now completely gone. What's different with the luminance and threshold settings? No adjustments work for me. Otherwise, everything else is working great!
I made a hotfix for this. Ilja developed a new Glare shader for the YEBIS replacement (alternative PP), which is much better then the version before. Pure's HDR mode is strictly using the alternative PP, where i integrated this new Glare shader. But yes, in HDR it was too weak. Should be fixed with the hotfix. ive downloaded lights patch 3.0 preview and extracted it to assetto corsa root folder, when I check in Content manager that the shader patch version is 0.2.11 instead of saying preview 3.0 like in the video. EDIT: manually dragging the files into the root folder worked.

The difference is on Linux you are not annoyed by Microsoft and their behavior on the users. So its all about to NOT use Windows then. On Linux it runs like with 85 - 90% of the performance of Windows. So if you are looking for the most performance, Linux is not the best choice (I can only speak for NVIDIA uasge - idk about AMD performance on Linux and AC!). So switching to Linux is mostly to get your own system back where you decide what your system is doing and not a company that want you to buy you their own software and probably sell or use your data for their own profit...

If I already have 3.0 installed and working, what's the procedure to update to this version?
run the "uninstall pure" bat file located in the pure 3.04 folder and after that if you have either 7zip or win war you would want to extract it into your ac root folder. if you are using windows file explorer you want to either open two windows or one from the (if you have two open) one one window open your ac root folder (this pc>program apps(either x64 x32 or x86)>steam>steamapps>common>asetto Corsa. then on the second window open pure (either hires or low-res) then copy the 4 folders you see (apps content extinction system) click and drag them into your root folder and your done if your using one window do the same steps but just copy the 4 folders before you go find your root folder

Hi Peter, hope you’re well. First off, please don’t take this the wrong way. Your work for the Assetto Corsa community over the years has been massive, and I really appreciate it. I’m trying to understand the key benefits of moving to Pure 3.0. From your point of view, what’s noticeably better compared to the current version? I already think the game looks stunning, and the biggest jumps I notice usually come from car and track creators. So I’m genuinely curious what sort of difference I should expect from 3.0 in day-to-day use. Do you feel the upgrade is a “must have” kind of leap, or more of an incremental improvement? And if it’s incremental, is it worth the uninstall/reinstall process for someone who’s already happy with how things look and feel? Thanks again for everything you’ve done and continue to do. Your vision has helped make AC what it is today.
With Pure 3.0 there are many little changes and fixes. So it is more a continuous development. Most things are influenced by other modders and I was testing a lot in Linux. With the ongoing changes in CSP 0.3.xxx many little things must be checked and adapted and sometimes I can improve things to be faster.
I'm lost, CSP on 0.3.0 preview 140, Pure on newest, clean install, so there's no Sol left and the rain on cars works great. But the roads don't have much of a reflection to them and there's no puddles, especially not on Kunos tracks, they looks slightly darker and that's it. Is there not supposed to be standing water like there was in Sol?

Thank you for working on linux, I have just recently started experimenting with linux using the bazzite distro for a possible switch soon from windows bs and make it the main OS, only leave windows for what doesn't work. I have managed to get AC working with CM, CSP, Pure but seems to be a bit iffy and unstable, some car mods not working throwing errors. So interested to see your guide on how to install and set up everything, so I can redo it. Maybe I'm missing something.

Its a 3rd party PPfilter for Pure Gamma. PPfilter modders can use any name they want for their PPfilter mod. So maybe just try it out. If someone would call it "MEGA Explosion PPfilter for Pure", would it make explosions just because of the name?
After getting pure 3.0 I've noticed that LCS looks pretty bad in comparison to 2.57 pure lcs, and pure pp does not recognize 3.0 pure lcs as a pure script so i cannot change the exposure to be higher that it is or change the photo realism of the filter. In pure lcs if it rains or it is slightly sunrise or sunset it is so dark you can only see your taillights and if it is night it is pure black. I know you work hard on this but i would just like to bring this to attention especially for the people who like lcs better than gamma.

why is my pure doesn't work? i literally change the weatherfx, i do the same what the video shows me, but when i go to a signle practice race, the graphics is the original. Then i went to the pure config panel, and also turned on, changed the graphics but nothing. Only the game freezes 1sec, i probably see the amazing graphics, but then change to the default. Whats the problem? i'm using csp 0.3 and this new pure.
Sorry, idk! Do you use Microsoft Onedrive? Could be it restores the CSP config files in your Documents folder. Try to deactivate it.

Pure is only on the client side. So if you select it as weather style, you will use it, no matter on which server you are. In Pure Planner - the weather controlling app - you can only change the weather look in online sessions. As a client you can't change time, date or rain. That is a natural limitation in AC/CSP!

If you still have Sol installed, please deactivate all Sol apps in CM settings AC python apps.
Track and road temperature is set to 0°C in single races by default, no matter the temperature and wind values set in the CM Drive menu before starting the session. I had previously never touched the temperature values from the Pure Planner app. When I set them to some value in the app, afterwards changing the values in CM Drive did work. Was wondering why my tires wouldn't warm up the whole race. I also believe that setting the temperatures to dynamic (aka ticking the checkboxes in the app) by default would be better in general, no? Regardless, great work.

Please help! I have installed the latest CM – Pure 3.0 and Pure 3.03 hotfix – LightsPatch 0.3.0prew140. My PC is top-tier, with all software fully up to date. However, when I play older tracks like Hockenheim F1 Classics 2.0, I’m getting a picture without asphalt and car is in the air. But when I play newer tracks like Imola F1 2025, everything works as it should. I installed everything manually, not through CM. I’m also using HDR enabled on the latest Windows 11 Pro. Monitor: Samsung 57". Is this an issue with the patch, or am I missing something?

Total newb here trying to get pure3.0 to work. I’ve followed the video and everything seems good. CSP version shows 0.3.0 preview 140, Assetto Corsa post processing filter shows PureHDR but I can’t select pure in the drive weather settings. New here, what are the differences between gamma and lcs?
Gamma Color space is used in older games and also in Vanilla Assetto Corsa. In video games, you calculate the lighting with a much higher dynamic, than you can output on the Monitor. A monitor usually only has 8bit color resolution per channel (RGB). But this is very rough to calculate light. You would see many quantification then. So internally you use a much higher range, but then you must compress it, to display it on monitors. That is what tonemapping does. But tonemapping is an additional render pass. In Gamma Color space, the light calculation uses a higher dynamic, but it is already compressed in the calculation. A "gamma" curve is used to shrink high tone values to lower ones. Therefore it is still possible to output the result of that calculations without tonemapping. That is what AC uses, if you deactivate PP on the video settings. Those calculations are done in different "shaders". They calculate the sun, ambient and many other lights on the materials. So AC uses Gamma shaders and CSP also do to be compatible. But this Gamma calculations bring many errors into the calculation. The lighting is already compressed and high tone values are wrongly mixed. Kunos prevents this by keeping the sunlight (which has the highest value) low. That works for most cases, but the result always feels dull and you always have the feel of missing sunlight. But it can work without Postprocessing and tonemapping. In Postprocessing you have the same functions to handle dynamics. Gamma is a function there too, but PP is already at the end of the render path and it has no meaning for the shaders. That's why it is called POST processing . So now comes a new part of CSP, to improve lighting. Ilja added new shaders to calculate the lighting linear, like in every modern game. The tone values are no more compressed within the color mixing and light calculation. So you have a very natural processing of the light. But now you really need tonemapping to compress the resulting tones to displayable tones on the monitor. The new shaders are called LCS shaders. Linear color space shaders. To work with them it was needed to rewrite the weather style and therefore there are now 2 versions of Pure. Pure Gamma is the Pure which works with the older gamma shaders. And it represents my 3 year long work to create a very natural light in Gamma space. Pure LCS is a new weather style which exclusively uses LCS shaders and it is completely different to Pure Gamma. In Pure LCS I introduced a lot more methods to make the weather style efficient to save fps and keep the frame flow steady and equal. So Pure LCS is the newest invention in terms of a weather style and it will give you great performance. But Pure LCS is no more usable with Postprocessing deactivated. But it has a way better color presentation and better ways to create real life like graphics.

did you set the "pure" ppfilter? check the saturation slider in AC video settings. Open Pure PP app and reset the settings there.

Sure. For Pure 3.0 you need at least 0.2.3 for LCS and 0.2 for Gamma

Hi Peter, I have a question regarding the Rain Wetness behavior in Pure. Would it be possible to limit the maximum Rain Wetness to 0.8% when using dynamic wetness? The reason is that the AI starts to lose pace and stability once the wetness goes above ~0.8%. All other factors (rain amount, humidity, water buildup, etc.) are fine, the only value that causes AI issues is Rain Wetness itself. So I would like Rain Wetness to stay dynamic, but never exceed 0.8%. Is there currently a way to set this limit, or could such a cap be supported in a future update or config option? Thanks a lot!
You could edit the weather presets in Pure Planner - settings - weather presets then. You need to set all rainy weather's wetness to max. 0.008 then...

Open the CSP preview zip file and EXTRACT the "dwrite.dll" and the "extension" folder to your AC root folder (Steam install folder of AC "common\assettocorsa").

Is there anything new about rain physics... not every mod handles rain well despite rain tires and tuning. Sometimes it's impossible to drive... like you're driving on a frozen lake.
Sorry, but Pure does not handle rain physics. This is all about CSP and how the car configs are made. Be sure you have "extented physics" active in the Drive menu! You can use the ingame CSP weatherFX debug app and lower the "rain thickness" there. Otherwise i have no glue about it.

Snow is just snowflakes for now! And you would need a CSP preview for rain or snow then...

On some tracks it happens to me that the gravel and grass textures are quite "flat". poor details that implies a worse senso of realism and speed. Is there any settings you recommend to improve this? my graph settings are quite high, since I have got a medium-high hardware (RYZEN 7 7800X3D - Ssd 1TB - DDR5 32Gb - RTX 4070 SUPER 12GB). thanks
This is related to the grassFX settings in the track config. You could manually customize this. It is different for every track. Pure has no influence on this. You must search the related grass entry in the track config ini.
Hi, anyone know how to fix a blurry dash when the headlights are switched on whilst using CSP 0.3.0-preview140 and Pure 3.0 with the hotfix. The dash with the headlights off is sharp and clear. I didn't have this issue with CSP 0.2.12 and Pure 2.57 and have since downgraded. I've followed your video tutorial to install and setup twice.

Yes, for rain you need a CSP preview version from Ilja Yusupov, the creator of CSP. Pure works with the free and the payed version. Its you decicion if you want to have rain or not.
I’m getting a “Warning: CPU occupancy 99%” error and the game stutters a lot. I have a Ryzen 5 5600X CPU, an NVIDIA RTX 2060 Super GPU, and 32 GB of RAM. Is there anyone who can help me fix this? I can’t get it to snow no matter what I try. Rain and other effects work fine, but there’s no snow. Is this issue happening only to me? I’m following all the steps shown in the video
For snow you need at least CSP 0.2.6 and in Pure you select the Snow weather in Pure Planner or you set the ambient temperature below 3 degrees Celsius. Be sure you have the weather particles active in Pure Config app Weather tab.

Can you run Pure 3.0 on previous CSP versions . I.e. (2.12preview). I’m seeing a lot of CSP bugs and people with issues but want to have a look at new Pure version
In the post you see the minimum versions of CSP for Pure. For Pure Gamma you need at least CSP 0.2 and for Pure LCS you need at least CSP 0.2.3

First of all. You do amazing things. I love Pure. Kunos (if they haven't already) should offer you a job. Just wanted to bring to your attention that Pure gets de-activated from time to time with this update. I have to go into Pure PP in game and re-activate it. You're probably aware of this, but just in case.

hello as always thank you for the great work on pure , i have some questions and recommendations , ive been experiencing micro stutter in VR on any track when im on a turn but going straight its completely smooth , i have a 9800x3d 32gigs of ram and a 5090 ,, i soon discovered this post on over take https://www.overtake.gg/downloads/neckfx-lua-script-vr-stabilize.65087/ with NeckFx LUA script - VR-Stabilize 0.4 ,, and it works amazing after using this mod in neckfx assetto corsa runs buttery smooth in VR ,, but for some reason i can not understand why only online there is a stutter again , is there any way you can implement this mod like neckfx and maybe try to understand and fix it to be also working in multiplayer , for those that know what im talking about with micro stutter in vr on turns go visit the link , it works but online still has a issue
Sorry but nexkFX stabilization has nothing to do with preventing stutter. I can't implement something to prevent stutter on your PC, esp if those stutters are random. There could be many reasons for that, like background processes, or if data are loaded. Could be also server related!

Thanks for the update Peter! One issue that I'm having is that the audio on the RSS Formula 2/3/4 cars is broken with 0.3.0-preview120. The audio is very scratchy. Reverting to 0.2.12-preview1 fixes the issue. I'm not sure if it's a CSP or Pure issue. I've tried playing with the audio settings in Pure, but nothing seems to fix the scratchy audio.

I'm at my wits end trying to get rid of this distance blur. Older version didn't have this, disabling taa helps a bit but introduces aliasing. might have to revert back

And did you hit save after you select it? Btw those quality presets are just for the groundfog shader! Those have no influence on other feature of Pure.

i installed hotfix using 7zip but when i open pure pp with other filter it says Pure weather script is not running, and the game looks weird. im sorry for bothering.
Then the hotfix is not installed right! BTW for the hotfix 3.01 you need an existing Pure 3.0 install ! Then you extract the hotfix 3.01 over it !

Idk what you pay in your country! But Pure works with the free CSP. If you want rain/snow you need a subscription with Ilja Jusupov. If you don't want to support his work then be glad you can use almost everything in CSP for free for years...

Yes, but snow comes with CSP previews! So you need at least CSP 0.2.6p1 to get snow. Then Pure will force snow in the Snow weathers and if ambient temperature is below 3°C. But you need a CSP preview version for this...

You need Content Manger and CSP. For Pure you can use the free versions of CM and CSP. Just watch the install video! It also shows how you install CSP preview if you have it. You get it if you subscribe to Ilja Jusupov Patreon. With this you have rain in Assetto Corsa. But for Pure you don’t need it. Just use the free versions of Pure for now, which you install in CM directly…

You can’t select a mode directly in Pure Planner. It just tells you what mode you can activate. In replays you can activate the replay override and in online you can only activate the direct mode, but then again you can only change the weather look. You CAN‘T change rain, date or time in online sessions!!!

Installed Pure 3.0. Having strange issue where Pure Gamma drag fps down to unplayable level while Pure LCS seems to render effortlessly at 240fps but the sky is dark and time of day sliders don't seem to make a difference. Could be my installing as I'm new to this. What should I check?

I support this, especially since I am on Steamdeck. But for now I stick to Pure 2.57.

What do you mean??? Pure has its own rain sounds and maybe it is not installed right then or you changed the settings in Pure Config app Sound tab! Otherwise Pure does not have an influence on rain drops behave. Pure Planner just sets the rain amount and wetness levels, that’s all…

Hello, I managed to get Pure 3 working with CSP (Custom Shaders Patch), 0.3.0. You have to delete everything related to dxgi, reshade... Would this version alter ai splines on mod tracks? I noticed several are exhibiting erratic behavior that didn't used to do that.
Pure has nothing to do with AI splines. It only uses the AI splines for its groundfog shader to draw fog along the spline. Otherwise it has no influence on AI splines it just reads them…
Hi Peter, Not sure if this is one for you or for Ilja, I'm running the latest version of CSP from this week, and Pure 3.0. I am repeatedly finding that AC is slowing down to like 2fps when it should be running 60+. Sometimes it happens when loading AC and Pure goes through its weather cycle at the start until it gets to the right conditions, or sometimes it happens when changing PPFilter, or, I can repeatedly get it to happen if I go from Day - Night - Day in Pure Planner. I have run uninstallsol/pure.bats, then installed Pure by extracting to AC root folder using 7zip. Using Pure LCS, with most of ACs other quality settings turned on/up (using an RTX3070) Using a HDR display, with AC in windowed mode, with HDR enabled in DXGI settings, and ppfilter related HDR values setting enabled, as per the HDR setup guide. Both NVIDIA and Steam overlays are disabled. I also find that the minimum black level with PureHDR ppfilter is quite high at night, with PureLinear giving a more realistic night time blacklevel. Screenshots taken with any filter other than PureLinear look massively overexposed and even with PureLinear, they have a higher contrast than they should.
Could you try this with the „default“ weather script selected? Then we know if it is Pure or CSP…

Sounds like an old bug in CSP when you use TAA in extraFX…
The sky at night is always solid black and during the day it's always white, no clouds. I tried different ppfilters and also going back to default settings. Doesn't change. CSP 0.2.3 and this version of Pure. What's the problem? Anything else works fine.

Having issue with Pimax Crystal Light. Freeze when the game loads but on shows working on monitor. I turned all graphics down to low but no dice. worked fine before the update(s).
Reset CSP settings completely! Goto /Documents/Assetto Corsa/cfg/ rename the "extension" folder to something different. Restart CM. It will create a new "extension" folder. You can restore it later. Select Pure as weather style again in CSP weatherFX settings.

Hi, I've upgraded to Pure 3.0 and new CSP now I've lost a ton of textures for my tracks. Nordschlife only has the actual track textures, all vegitation and pit stuff has gone. Similare with Shotoku. Other tracks like Bathurst don't seem to be effected. Any idea what's happening?
Just tried downloading Nord again and everythings still missing. So whatever happened has killed the game. Never had any problems with previous Pure/CSP combos.
just installed together with new CSP 030. I am driving VRC FA25 and on some racetrack AC crashes reporting an error about track textures. If you need I can share the crash log. It happens if I set WHEATHER STYLE=PURE LCS. no problem if I set it to PURE GAMMA. I take the chance of my feedback for 2 questions about graphics setting. 1) SSLR quality to Hi-Z is significavely better than ti Simple new? is it worth? 2) while racing with AI on some tracks I suffer an unexpected slow-mo of the games (it is not a topic of FPS, all the game seems in slow-mo and then a kind of Fast Forward to recover the lost time)... what can it be due to? I hope you can suggest me a few tips. thanks

It is not for a special OS. If AC and CSP runs on your system, Pure will work too! I just added Linux to my testing...

This has nothing todo with Pure! RainFX is a module of CSP and Pure is just controlling the rain strength. So you probably also updated CSP?! And now it is a side effect of a incomplete car config or something else in CSP. If you switch to "default" weather script, you still have this effect?
