Pure 0.271 development update

Ground Fog shader

  • a new shader which adds ground fog along the AI spline

  • the shader only works on tracks with AI splines!

Lightning shader

  • added a probability multiplier slider

Pure Planner

  • new translations: Chinese, French adn Spanish (Thanks to Tidy, RiZou71, PAU and Javire !!!)

CSP Linear Color Space support (CSP 0.2.3p211 or later needed for LCS)

From now on Pure features (limited) support for LCS. However, the integration is still in a very early and unoptimized state. In Pure 0.270 it matches with the overall look of normal (gamma) shaders. So visually LCS and gamma shaders will look pretty much identical. Please be aware that the current LCS integration only works at daytime for now.

A full rebuild of Pures code is required to make linear color space function properly.

Please don't report ANY issues regarding LCS mode !!! Please don't do it !!!

There are still bugs both on the CSP and Pure side. But full LCS support will likely be a thing of the near future. I already started re-writing the Pure base code and I'll keep posting updates so you can keep track of Assetto Corsas transformation into a more modern looking game!

In Content Manger - Settings - weatherFX, you can activate LCS. If you have "Developer Mode" active, you're able to switch between LCS and gamma mode by pressing your space bar (orange border = LCS mode).

Live switching of Gamma and LCS shaders in VR is NOT supported! (AC will crash) !

  • solved: groundfog shader darker than the normal fog in the distance

  • solved: groundfog headlights for all "drivable" camera modes

  • solved: groundfog flickering fog when passing start-finish line
