Weekly Development Update 12.26.2025

Hey everyone!

Hope you all had a great Christmas 🎄
I’m posting this update a day after the holiday, and while things were a bit quieter, I still made solid progress on the game world and environment this week.

🌆 World & Environment Updates

• New parking garage has been added to the map, expanding drivable and navigable areas.

• Continued work on sidewalks and road layouts to make city traversal feel more natural and alive.

• Several map areas were refined and cleaned up for better flow and visual consistency.

🍜 Asian Restaurant Improvements

• Added proper textures to the exterior and interior.

• Updated the interior layout and visuals to match the NeonStrip vibe better.

• The location now feels more complete and readable as an active business rather than a placeholder.

🧍‍♀️ New NPC Receptionists

• Added receptionist NPCs to key locations:

  • Asian restaurant

  • Car dealership

  • North Tower apartments

• These NPCs help bring structure and life to important locations and will tie into future interaction systems.

Overall, this week was focused on world-building, visual polish, and making locations feel functional and lived-in. More systemic and gameplay-focused updates are coming next as things ramp back up after the holidays.
