MARCH 2023 FINAL PATCH STATUS & UPDATES

1. New updates

- rpo last updated March 18
- No Strings Attached, Road to Romance, Contextual Socials and First Impressions updated.

- First Impressions has 2 choices of versions now instead of 4, and Road to Romance has only one. I have too many mods and too many mods to build still to afford to keep so many versions for minor differences, it is too much work to maintain.

- see full patch recap below.
Mods that needed updates have all been updated, mods that didn't have been left alone.

1.5 About INTEGRATION

Integration for the patch and pack in details won't happen right this minute, EXCEPT on the matter of integrating Memory Panel because I don't want the mod to die ahah.

For People who DON'T have 'growing together', Memory Panel remains as a mod.

For those who DO have 'growing together', a revamp conversion of Memory Panel, which is called 'Milestones Expanded', is in the works. It is mostly done. I need to test all of it, and account for a few quirks still that come from this conversion process. Sun tiers will be able to Beta it very soon if they so choose, tomorrow likely.

It converts nearly 70 milestones from Memory Panel into EA system, adds one or two more (but that's going to be IT on that), and brings over moodlets and social posts from MP too.

Gif image below of most new milestones. You'll recognize the MP stuff

Note that names have changed a little in some cases since.

Custom Milestones have a dangerous technical quirk that Frankk and I discovered yesterday, so we let the world know about it to avoid breaking saves.
It has been quite a ride.

A bunch of us modders are organizing to AVOID milestone mod overlap so that people don't have to pick and choose between mods that are partially redundant (nobody wants to see three mods trigerring 'iscovered grilled cheese' in he panel every time it happens). I hope it works out this way.

This also implies that we are gathering lists of milestone ideas so you can always share your ideas and suggestions. View the list HERE and if you have ideas that aren't on it, drop suggestions here in comments! Then any modder with valid access can take them on if they choose.

2. A GAME BUG:

If you get an error about telemetry and 'no sim_id': that's a new game bug and not my mod. If you get pregnancies that don't progress, same deal.

3. RPO NOTES

- if you have problems with newborns sent away coming back - send them away as infants. This is an issue from late 2022 that happens to some people and is unexplained. Maybe mod interference maybe not, no clue. This worked for over a year and then suddenly the issue started happening while there was no game or mod update on my side.

- there's sth going on with adopting away newborns right now. Haven't had a chance to investigate yet. If you get an error with that, send them away as Infants instead.
