Moon Channel

LouritaShine and I have been working on the Moon Channel Discord for a little while now, but the effort has been slightly hampered by my complete inexperience with Discord as a platform. Today, that culminated in a totally surprise launch, after I integrated Patreon with Discord, thereby inviting ev

Good morning, dear patrons! Or should I say, good evening? I'm writing to you not from the United States, but from Taipei, having just spent about two weeks in Mainland China. I went equipped with a VPN (this Patreon post is bought to you by Mullvad, apparently), but though it was able to get me pas

In light of recent events, I've retooled the Korean Gacha credit's gag to make a short. And, like last time, I forgot that shorts are vertical, and made the whole thing horizontal. I'm hesitant to post this though, onto the wider channel. I figured perhaps I'd share this with all of you first, to ge

Hey Patrons! So, I've been approached by a new sponsor: Better Help. I wasn't aware of it at first, but it seems that Better Help has had some controversy recently. The upcoming video is on depression, and it might be a good fit for Better Help. My question to all of you is, what do you think? Shoul

It seems that the fate of Moon Channel and Brazil are deeply intertwined.

It's been a very long year of law and YouTube. After that last video in particular, I thought, heck, it's high time I actually took some real time off. So, I hop on the plane, and go to Italy... only to have my phone snatched out of my hand, as I exit the train into Stazione Milano Centrale. I'm afr

So, the new video was released on YouTube, concerning The Completionist and Karl Jobst. I, being rather unexperienced with the whole YouTube thing, very seriously underestimated how upset people would be about any negative treatment of Jobst and Mutahar. I apologize for the radio silence lately! I've been very hard at work, both at the office, but also on two videos: the Korean Gacha video, which is looking like it'll be feature length, and the Completionist Law Review episode, which has ballooned out of control, and will be about an hour long itsel

So, here's an interesting story, and one I'm considering making a video about. Apparently, there's been quite a bit of drama floating around the Korean gacha-gaming community recently concerning the Megalia symbol. The short version of the story is that in SK, this "little c" symbol has been finding

I don't usually watch very many movies: perhaps just one movie in theatres a year. And cinema is a medium of art that I have very limited exposure to. I've never watched the Godfather, for example. I know, it's just like in Barbie! In any case, I was privileged then, by sheer chance, to have watched

While doing research for the upcoming video (Why Do You Always Kill Gods in JRPGS?), I came across a very curious Reddit thread, of all things, written 7 years ago by a now unknown author. https://www.reddit.com/r/FanTheories/comments/39dbqi/kirby_super_star_is_a_marxist_critique_of_the/ In this thr

The Mother 3 video is nearly done: it discusses the legal reasons why Mother 3 hasn't been localized in the West. A large part of the video is about, specifically, the nature of Mother 3's soundtrack. Well, upon uploading the video draft to check for copyright issues, lo' and behold, the video is fl
