I know this has been answered a number of times, but I still can't seem to fix it. I believe you've made it possible to trigger a postpartum maternal death. (If I'm wrong, let me know.) I can only seem to Disable the postpartum death in Childbirth. I'm wondering if maybe the option to trigger a maternal death is built alongside another feature, like emotional deaths, which I have turned off in MC Command. This is seriously just a wild guess so if I'm way off, please excuse me.

I wanted to know which file to download? If I don’t have the runaway child or lactation one does it mean I won’t have those features?

Hey! I downloaded the update but when my sim goes to use the breast pump, the action just cancels out immediately then a Last Exception comes up. Are you familiar with this issue? Are you able to help please? Thank you!

If you first delete the mod before the update and then put it back, then the person who was a midwife is suddenly no longer so and you have to start all over again

I think there's an issue with this mod. when my sim has the baby it glitches and its like my sim was never pregnant and there's no baby

your MOD is not working whenever you put into the game, it never works and it glitches, it also won't let you have your babies in the hospital or let you go to anything pregnancy wise, I've taken the MOD out my game and it lets me go to the hospital to have kids so it MUST be your MOD I don't know why this is happening or maybe it's just in my game but please if this issue.

Hi, when I place the birthing pool my sims can no longer interact with things like beds, stoves, etc. They could not even interact with the pool, but when I deleted it, my game was working just fine. I installed the mod again to see if that would work, but no problem was fixed. Is this a problem on my behalf or is it an issue with the mod?

Hello! I LOVE your mods! Question for the Mid Wivery. My girl is at level 5. Patients are not showing up at the hospital. Is it supposed to be like that? She gets the house-calls to go do home births, there's just no patients to interact with at the hospital.

After giving birth, there is bleeding for several days, so it would be great to have that extra level of realism. It's not updated so it doesn't work with the recent Sims 4 updates, the objects don't work and disappear when placed into the world, and the characters become paralyzed, not moving and leaving the babies aside. When could you release a new update for the birth mod?

What did I do wrong? How can I restore my career at the same level? - In the widwife career, every time a patient gives birth and the baby is suppose to be in an incubator, I can't find any baby in there and can’t perform any care tasks. - Still in the midwife career, every time a patient should have a natural delivery at the hospital, it ends up turning into a c-section. How can I carry out natural births at the hospital?

Is it really MANDATORY to have get to work in The Sims? I would just like to have childbirth in the pool and the other functions, without needing to go to the Hospital and etc.

Hi I'm having an issue and this was with a previous update (I held off on updating the mod because I held off updating the game after the first error of the marketplace and ofc waiting for my mods to update), but whenever my sim does the ultrasound she changes into a different outfit from the hospital gown and is just stuck in it, I go to have her change clothes and it's the same for every outfit minus accessories a swimsuit top and default underwear, the lifted hospital gown is only with the pap smear and when I go into CAS to change her clothes it stays at what it was before but in live mode it's that issue, resetting her hasn't worked and neither has clearing her outfits in MCCC

i'm having an issue where my sims bladder drops so fast she's in a loop of showering then wetting herself because it drops so quickly. This was triggered in last trimester of pregnancy and hasn't corrected once baby is born. I'm loving this mod so much btw, thank you for your hard work! xo

Hi, I'm having an issue with the hospital birth options. For some reason, none of the hospital birth options are working for me (Natural Delivery, Caesarean Section, Surgery Machine, etc.). When I choose any of them, the game does show the notification that I selected it, but my sim never actually goes to the hospital. The only option that works is Home Birth. Regular birth from the base game works fine, so it seems like it's only happening with the mod. I reinstalled the mod and also made sure there are no old versions or duplicates in my Mods folder. I would appreciate knowing if this is a known issue or if there is a fix. Thanks for the help!

I have Get to Work installed. I repaired the game. I even tried reinstalling the mod. I also tried to uninstall Get to Work and reinstall it. I seem to have a problem with the midwife career: my sim is level 4 in the career and had one workday where he was able to check on the baby, measure dilation etc. After the weekend the task went back to level one tasks like cleaning up, bring patient food, take blood pressure. My sims also keeps switching uniforms to the one in the doctor career. I deleted the old version of the mod before installing the new one.

I'm having a small issue - my sim used the "Take Pregnancy Test Without Looking" option, and she gets the pregnancy test in her inventory, but nothing happens when I click the option to view with with her partner (no freezing, just seems like the interaction doesn't go through?) I saw down thread you mention about having a zodiac mod - I do have PlumAntics' Simstrology mod, is there a conflict between them? Thank you for all your help!

I’m having an issue with ur mod, basically I keep getting a script error and it’s bugging my game, mcc says the error is ‘pandasama:object_baby’ and the main bug I had was that my sim could not leave the hospital no matter how many times I clicked to go home, it just kept stacking up the command on the side bar. It has also caused my game to crash once. Just wondering if this is an issue with the mod or something on my end? Edit: I see that u mentioned it is due to other mod conflicts, do u know which mods these could be? I only installed 2 new mods yesterday, both were gym equipment. :)

Had a Sim get pregnant for the first time since the Marketplace patch disaster, the pregnancy test and all the home pre-birth stuff is working fine, but when my sim tried to go to the obstetrician the game crashed. The called worked, picking her husband to go along with her worked, but when the travel loading screen was supposed to come up, the game just shut off. I don't have any mods that have anything to do with travelling or any CC loading screens, so I thought I'd mention it just in case it wasn't a fluke of my game ^_^

I do have the RPO mod which could be conflicting this mod, but it's been fine for ages until just yesterday. Hiii :) This is one of my favorite mods, so thank you so much for all you do for us simmers! After doing the 50/50 method and testing this mod alone in the mods folder, my played household will not load "resume." In my current save, one of my sims is in 2nd year nursing school. All other mods work though, and all other saves where I am not using the nursing school option load normally.

I downloaded it but it didn't show "join nursing school" in the phone, and it kept freezing my game, I LOVE this mod so much but I sadly had to just remove it to even play the sims

Hello, love this mod, can't play without it so thank you! Was wondering if it might be possible to still have the sim look semi pregnant postpartum? Would add more realism instead of them snapping back to norma;. I know they gain weight post birth but maybe like go down to 2nd trimester bump immediately after birth then it gradually will go to 1st trimester then no bump. Have a good one!

for some reason every time my sim pumps milk, no bottle appears in her inventory.

When my sims viewed the pregnancy test results together they got a sad moodlet saying maybe next time, even though the test was positive and my sim is pregnant.

Hi! I absolutely love this mod and honestly can't imagine my gameplay without it. I saw someone mentioning a cpp.message error that they were getting prior to this update. I've actually started seeing this error after installing your latest update. Interestingly, the error occurs whenever I try to initiate some of the interactions added by the Royalty & Legacy pack, like purchasing secrets through the computer. I have other mods but I tested them all using 50-50 method twice and the error occurs only when Childbirth Mod is installed.

hi, i’m having an issue with the nursing school part of the mod. my sim reads the book but it keeps saying that it hasn’t started. i’ve removed the mod and restarted nursing school and it still is glitching when reading the books.

I absolutely love this mod; it makes the pregnancies a lot more fun to play through 🥰 I did notice I couldn't find the birthing pillow or pool. Even at the hospital, I couldn't find the ultrasound table. I had the freebuild and show hidden objects/move objects on. I also deleted and redownloaded the files and double-checked them to make sure I had everything.

I´ve tried it ina new save too with every sim, it used to work. also unrelated to the mod but when I click on kill sim in mccc she just dies without the animation and it tells me to choose her to be either a playable or freeroaming ghost and I don´t get an urn, maybe it´s connected

Hi! I do not have the get to work expansion pack yet, but I seen videos of the mod working without it so I decided to try it. When I try to use items like the pool, breast pumps, beds, toilets, or even give birth in a bassinet it does not allow my sim to do anything due to "not being able to reach it." My game works just fine without the mod. Is it not compatible without the expansion pack or is this just a glitch/mod issue? Please get back to me. Hi PandaSama! Love your mod, have been using it for such a long time! I have a question regarding one of the new features. My sim took her pregnancy test without looking, and everything with the interaction went well with boht her and her partner. However, I didn't get the "eating for two" notification and the game doesn't recognize her as pregnant and is prompting me to take another test even though she has a belly and MCCC indeed shows her as pregnant. Could this be the result of a conflict or this a bug. Thanks in advance and thanks for all you do with this mod!!

Please please please break this mod down further into modules. At least, break off the actual birth (hospital birth, home birth) from the rest of the mod into modules, and the rest you could leave in in clump. This mod is MASSIVE , very heavy, especially with the many animations, and much bigger than any of my many other mods. Many of us ONLY want the birth aspects and do not want all the other medical stuff, nursing career, etc. You keep adding, adding, adding more and more tangential stuff (at least tangential to those of us only wanting just your basic normal birth). The original birth stuff was great and meaningful but please consider that this has gotten out of hand. It's not normal in the modding community to create mods this large that are not broken down into modules (and frankly it's the largest mod I've seen). I appreciate you have put some elements that might be triggering for people (ie the death elements) into modules but there is equally a need for efficiency. It is the main reason I stopped being a patreon since you have mentioned you will do this in the past, but I have not seen any delivery on this and you only continue adding more and more.

Hi! My game is updated and I just installed version 1.91 of your mod. I was really excited about the stillbirth addition as it's great for gameplay; however, it isn't appearing in my game. I tried clicking on my sims (who is in her 2nd trimester) to manually trigger the pregnancy loss but I can't find it anywhere. I have no duplicates in my mods folder. Where can I find the stillbirth option in my game play? Or is there a reason it isn't showing up?

I am unsure why, or if there is something I need to do, but this is the only mod download I have issues placing into my game. I had to delete everything and start fresh (not to do with your mod) but whenever I try to move the download from the download folder into the ea > sims 4 > mod folder, it gets stuck at 73%. Is there something I can do to stop this?

Hi PandaSama! First, love the mod, it's amazing! Second I just wanted to make it known that I am noticing issues where the gender reveal/baby shower event isn't showing up as an option in the calendar anymore and almost all of the baby shower furniture has disappeared as well and I don't know if anyone else is currently having that issue. I'm still trying to see if any of my other mods are maybe broken and causing this issue.

Hi! So i am having one issue that I can't seem to figure out. After my sims woohoo if they are NOT pregnant all the pregnancy test options show up when clicking the toilet. However, when my female sims are pregnant and I click on the toilet there is not a single test option that shows up (only the 'throw up' option). Hi Panda! I hope you are well! I wasn’t sure where to post this, since I’m not having an issue with the mod but wondered if you would like an idea for a future expansion. My sim is a midwife and during an ultrasound for a patient it triggered what I think is the pregnancy loss animation. My sim didn’t have any interactions for the patient after that like emergency care or sad moodlets on having to deliver the bad news. I thought it might be a cool add on should you want to expand in the future! Either way, I am loving the random event mod you’ve been working on. Excited to see more!

Hello. Sorry to bother you but I don't know if it's conflicting with something else I might have. I tried to do a home but with the pool the other parent joins but repeatedly falls asleep beside the pool while the midwife delivers the baby. And then for the pillows if the midwife delivers the baby there's really nothing for the partner to do. and can't join. Do you happen to have any suggestions?

Hey I’ve been having some problems with the mod, it doesn’t give me an option to call a midwife to the house for home birth, so my sim just ends up going by the baby bed to have baby. Also isn’t loading gender reveal decorations to get a cake. I’ve deleted the old version and downloaded this one, I’ve also deleted a lot of mods and cc with my mod manager and still nothing.

I am having an issue with pregnancy in my game where my pregnancy is paused and I don't see an option to "resume" it and I know my Sim is pregnant because of MCCC but when I click on a toilet to take a test, your options aren't showing up.. every pregnancy test (even the base game option) is missing. HI! I want to thank you first of all, this is an amazing thing you do! I used the take the test without looking and then viewed with their partner and it did all of the positive animations because it was positive. But the game didn't recognize that she had taken a test until I had her take a regular test. There was no "eating for two" or pregnancy moodlet.

I'm having an issue with the pregnancy test. when I go to the toilet it's only giving my sim the option to take a pregnancy test without the option to "take with". ivermectin made sure the relationship levels are where they're supposed to be but I also have RPO I'm not sure if this is compatible or not. I've also tried uninstalling and reinstalling, changing my toilet to base game also.

This is completely unrelated, but I downloaded the co-sleeping toddler mod and it is genuinely the cutest and most wholesome thing i have ever downloaded. It adds a sense of realism to a toddler's life if they sleep with mummy or daddy one night <3

After sim has baby at hospital, she cannot leave, it throws exceptions, I have to leave her at the hospital, go to neighborhood's, find her household and play a different sim in the household. Then I can use the game option to "bring (sim) here". That is the only way she can go home. The travel option on phone does not work either.

Hello, I've encountered a bug which is preventing the sim from being sent alone to the midwife career from the pop-up prompt and the career menu at their home lot. But when prompted in another lot from the career panel, it sends the sim back to their home and completes the workday instantly. I've removed all other mods, but this bug persists. Hello! Im running into an issue with this mod and Im genuinely kinda sad about it given this is my favorite mod of all time. For some reason I cannot do pregnancy checkups. I have a midwife in my household so I even put the ultrasound machine in the residence but when I click on it there are no pop ups to do anything with it. All the new updates where i can share pregnancy news to my kids or spouse is not showing up. Also, every time I save and leave to the main screen the pregnancy disappears. I have tried it with other mods and it running as the only thing in my mod folder and it still wont work. I see the last comment you said to someone having a similar problem was that its too deep in my mod folder but it is front and center in my folder. Also, I have deleted the past version, cleared my cache folder, restarted the game, and now Im gonna do a repair to the game itself. Is there anything else I can do to make this work?

Hey, I've run into a problem. I can't find the option to call the Obstetrician. I've removed all my mods and only left your mods. But still it doesn't show up. Besides the ChildBirth mod, I've got the co-sleeping mod, the toddler crafting station, toddler drawing supply, toddler Xylophone and the rock a stack. Is any of these other mods broken? I couldn't find it in any announcements.

Hi, I have the new version of this mod, but for some reason I cant trigger a stillbirth or premature birth and I can only trigger a miscarriage is this normal?

Is there no german translation? :( But even without it, i love your mod very much. Can someone explain what the death_enabler file is for? I can't find an explanation for it. What does this file do? This file is not in my old version of this mod

The partners don't automatically come to watch the ultrasound or the birth. They just wander around the hospital and when I direct them to the room, they still just stand there. When I first downloaded the mod in the summer they were more involved but a couple months ago they just stopped being actively involved at the hospital. Is there something I'm doing wrong? Or is there a patch?

I have deleted the old version of this mod and have tried downloading the new version 3 times now and every time I go into my game some featured do pop up but every time I click "call obstetrician" and then proceed to click "pregnancy checkups" she uses the phone but nothing happens afterwards. It does not ask who I want to bring nor does it take my sim to the hospital she just stands there and then does some random task.

Hi! I recently downloaded Pandasama's Childbirth Mod and I love it but I've been having an issue with the Midwifery career. I used the cheat to complete nursing school and then went to work and it was fine until I got to promotion to certified midwife. The first day was fine but after that day I only got the interactions of the level before certified midwife. When I clicked work it still said I was a certified midwife and still said I needed to complete two emergency c-sections to get a promotion. Does anyone know how to fix this or why it is happening? It happened in the both the saves I used it in.

Hi Pandasama :) Thank you for creating this fantastic mod! I have searched the FAQ and comments below but can't seem to find my answer. Could you kindly tell me what type of mod/CC clash could cause the Ultrasound Machine and Birthing Pool etc to not appear (with freebuild and testingcheats enabled)? When I search "Panda" in items, it only brings up two Panda statues. I have removed all mods except yours and checked again, and it works, so there must be a conflict in my CC somewhere. I am going to isolate and put the mods back in but was wondering if you would know what kind of conflict would cause the items to not appear so I can avoid downloading in future or be cautious? I do not have duplicate Childbirth Mod (I've followed your "Checking For Duplicates" instructions). Thank you again for your creations and updates.

I downloaded it on my laptop from here but it still showed up as being a “broken tuning mod” on better exception report.

there was a thing where after the baby was miscarried and the sim added the baby to the family tree, the child continued to age up on the family tree. it was so random but if you do family trees it looks super weird that a miscarried baby was an adult on the family tree

is this compatible for trans sims?

you said the gender reveal is its own module, so it's a separate file?

Idk if i am the only one having this problem. After my sims look at the pregnancy test together, the moodlet pops up but the pregnancy announcement does not show up. My sims then has to go back to the toilet and take the pregnancy test by herself in order for the pregnancy to start.

Sorry I'm new to this so i don't know how to let you know so im writing it here my sims just had twins & they are both set to prefer breast over bottle but when my sim tries to breast feed them they refuse & put the no bottle up sign even tho its breast but if i pump then feed them with the bottle they accept it

Hi, I'm having a bit of an issue with the formula. Every time my sim goes to make a bottle of formula she goes to sleep on the ground in her kitchen. My sims neighbour got a formula moodlet above his head and also slept on the floor in an apartment hallway.

So i downloaded this mod & its not giving me the option to take a pregnancy test or the see an OB to plan my birth like it did in the past. IDK if its conflicting with another mod i have or what.

I love this mod but when I get an error and post it on discord bot tells me that I have an old version which I downloaded this new version 1.9 I made sure to delete all old before I downloaded this one. So, I deleted again redownloaded I'll keep you posted

I cant be the only one with issues. I love this MOD for life, i have all the custom content, and when i do the testingcheats, it gives me options to add stretch marks, but i cant make dr app, I cant go to the hospital for checkups. Ive already uninstalled and reinstalled, both the mod, and the game. Im sorrry to be a pain, but it doesnt work for me, unless there is a new update coming, im will to wait :) ....Still love your worrrrrk PandaSama <3

Hi I don't know if this is the right place to report an issue but I can't travel to the hospital. In every save it crashes my game. I tested and took out all of my mods except this one and it still happens.

I'm so excited to play with this update. My sim is currently pregnant(alien baby) and he already has twin toddler boys(also alien) so now he can tell his sons he's having a baby. I'm too excited lol sorry I know I said it twice now but this will be awesome. The home births for multiple babies is something I'm looking forward to seeing and I have other saves to use that on. Anywho, I'm rambling now but thank you so much for the blood, sweat, and tears you put into this update <3

Thank you for your wonderful work ❤️ You're amazing 😍 I have a question about stillbirth. Is it just me, that the stillbirth baby lives in the game and i paid child support for it? The Baby is not in the household but in the world. At the miscarriage from the RPO Mod, the baby ends up in the family tree as dead and not alives in the world. therefore i don't use Stillbirth because it doesn't work 🥺 If it's not up to me yet, than will there be an update for it soon?
