Poll - Next Steps

Hey guys!!

As im finishing up the current update for the childbirth mod I’ve been cooking up a few ideas for what’s next, and I’d love your input to help shape the direction of development. Right now I’m torn between three exciting paths:

🍼Another Childbirth Mod Updates
This would continue expanding the childbirth mod with features like:

• Finding out about pregnancy together (for couples)

• More birth locations and setups (like giving birth to twins/triplets at home or giving birth in the bathtub!)

• Finish the 345891110 things on my todo list (bottle warmer, hands free pump, milestones for parent and baby, sharing pregnancy news with children etc)

• Maybe turn the mod modular as it is getting kinda big 💀

👶Toddler infant focused mods

• Revisit the toddler crib and see if I can fix it

• more toddler toys (toy stroller, toy drums, teddy bear etc)

• co-sleeping with parents

🎭A New Mod: Drama Generator
This is something I have been tinkering for a while and I feel like its time to share it with you all, frankly i dont even know if some of the ideas are even possible lol But basically it is a a brand new mod that adds random, sometimes bazaar drama into your Sims life (they can happen randomly or trigger through a selection menu) the tl;dr version is:

• Fake relationship proposals

• Long-lost "siblings" who turn out to be annoying freeloaders

• Doppelgängers trying to replace you

• Serial killer on the loose

• Cult recruitment, MLM schemes, surprise inheritances...

The not so tl;dr version is

1. Fake Relationship Proposal
   A hot Sim shows up offering a fake relationship for a specific reason ( maybe some kinda k drama reasons i dont know yet). You can accept and get something in return (TBD). If they move in you can choose to pursue romance or stay platonic.

2. Villainous Twin / Doppelgänger
   A Sim identical to the player appears. They will enter your sims life, meet your sims friends and families. It is up to you to figure out if they are just a random friendly stranger who happen to look just like your sim or if they have some kind of sinister motive.

3. Surprise Inheritance
   Inheritance of §200k with severe conditions:

   • Divorce your spouse

   • Cut off your best friend

   • Kick someone out of your household

   • Power and water shut off for 7 days

4. The Affair Was Discovered
   The player is confronted by their angry SO accusing player for cheating. Romance bar drops, partner becomes furious. Apology interactions may fail. After 3 days, rebuilding the relationship becomes possible.

5. Long-Lost Sibling Arrives
   A random teen or adult shows up claiming to be your half sibling. They stay over, eat your food, and don’t have a job. Some are sweet, others steal, flirt, or overstay. The annoying ones might return even after being kicked out.

6. Serial Killer on the Loose
   You receive a warning about a killer. At night, they might break in and murder a Sim if you're not careful. Maybe you will have to figure out who the killer is? Eventually, the killer might be caught or identified, ending the threat.

7. Runaway Child
   A child disappears after an argument or event. you can hand out posters or receive tips. Child may return dirty, or never return at all.

8. Public Embarrassment / Viral Incident
   Player becomes the laughingstock of town. Strangers laugh when they see you, friends either comfort you or avoid you. Paparazzi might show up at your home if you're famous.

9. The Ex Is Back
   An ex repeatedly shows up at your house, flirts with you, causes jealousy, and picks fights with your current spouse. they will keeps coming back even after being asked to leave.

10. Cult Invitation
    A strange Sim invites you into a cult. You perform weird rituals (TBD) and can recruit others. Some Sims may join, others think you're insane and lose relationship points.

11. Unwanted House guest
    Sim asks to stay temporarily but becomes a nightmare, breaks things, makes messes, eats too much. They return with new excuses even after being kicked out.

12. Food Poisoning / Mystery Illness
    A Sim becomes exhausted, nauseated, and throws up frequently. Over time, it could lead to death.

13. Unexpected Pregnancy Claim
    A Sim shows up claiming your Sim/your sims partner is the other parent of their unborn child. True or not, it causes fallout.

14. Switched at Birth (Wretched at Birth)
    A Sim gets a call saying their real child is at an orphanage. They can meet and adopt the child, possibly sending away the one they’ve been raising. New child might be sweet or disturbing. Includes interactions to discuss the situation with spouse or current child.

15. You Are the Other Woman
    A random NPC confronts you, revealing they’re married to your partner. You confront your SO, who either admits it and promises to fix it or denies it.

16. Injury That Changes Everything
    A freak accident that changes the Sim’s personality traits.

17. MLM Scheme
    Your Sim joins an MLM, buys 500+ units of some product. You must sell them to friends or acquaintances. High relationships increase purchase chance, but can also lead to people cutting you off entirely.

18. Meteor Strike
    A meteor hits your lot, causing fire and chaos. (is this even possible idk lol)

19. Poison or Die
    Your Sim receives a threat: poison someone within X days or die. You can poison food or drink. If caught, you go to jail, lose money and relationships. If you succeed, your Sim gets a heavy guilt moodlet.

20. The Bachelor/Bachelorette

    You get called to join the show and gets to live in a mansion with a bunch of hot sims who will compete for your affection. And you need to choose someone at the end.

All three options are fun in different ways, so I’m leaving it up to you. Let me know what you’re most excited to play with! And feel free to leave any suggestions in the comment.
