1.Sims who have graduated nursing school can now work as a midwife. your sim has 50% chance of getting a moodlet regarding their work everyday.
Tip: there's a cheat in childbirth settings that allows you to graduate nursing school immediately.
2. There are a total of 5 levels to this career, it works similarly to other careers in the game where you need to perform daily career tasks to get promoted. 3. You can use the "Examine Patient" Interactions to figure out if the patient needs treatment. blood test, blood pressure and urine tests are the main tests you want to perform.
4. you can use the analyzer to analyze blood and urine samples
5. you will get notifications when examining patients to know if they requires treatment 6. you will see a "treatment" menu if medical treatment is necessary.
7. Later in the career you will also be able to perform emergency c-sections and regular birth deliveries depending on your patient's needs 8. after delivering the baby you will be able to take blood samples from the baby and test them. You wont need to use the analyzer to analyze it, a notification will pop up automatically 9. you will be able to treat them if treatment is necessary. you could continue to monitor the blood pressure of postpartum patients in case they need a blood transfusion 10. once you have advanced into a Independent Birth Specialist you will occasionally be asked to go to house calls during your shift 11. you need to click on the front desk to respond to the house call 12. once there you will find the patient in need of your assistance. sometimes they are in the house sometimes they arrive outside, you need to look around a bit to find them
13. if you click on the ground you can quickly create any birth items you may need, but really you should just grab Tmex's Always FreeBuild mod to save you some headaches when the lot is too small
14. there's a cheat option in childbirth settings that allows you to dilate your patient instantly
15. you can click on the birth object to deliver the baby once they are ready. Make sure you pay attention to the main objective on the top left corner, some patients require bed birth and some require water birth
16. Lastly if you fail to provide necessary treatment to patients who have very high blood pressure there is a chance they might collapse and there's a 50% chance they will die if you have the death enabler installed. Your work performance will be affected negatively and your sim will get a negative buff about the incident. 17 . you can also trigger their collapse in childbirth settings, again there's only a 50% chance they will die when it is triggered.

The "Greet coworker" tasks can now be fulfilled with regular chatting interaction instead of just the "introduce..." interactions
