FIRST TIME WATCHING: Attack on Titan S4E85

That Bertholdt flashback was from season 2 when Reiner was running with Bertholdt and Ymir (with a captured Eren) on his shoulder and when the scouts/the gang (Connie, Jean, Sasha, Mikasa, etc) had caught up to them, and Bertholdt broke down crying, about how he genuinely viewed them as friends but they would need to kill him as he wasn’t in a position to give Eren up. Connie always took the betrayal the hardest, he lost his whole family, and a lot of his closest friends betrayed him, and he’s found himself in the position of the traitor. The two guys he shot were ones that his friends saved - Daz, who was holding the gun to Armin’s head, is the guy that Ymir and Historia saved on the flashback episode of the training in the snowy mountain. Sam, who Connie was wrestling with, was saved by Sasha in season 1 during the battle of Trost, so for him it must have also felt like wiping out something good Sasha did in her life. For Sam and Daz, and others like him, it’s not a defense of the Yeagerists at all because many, like Floch, are xenophobic supremacists, but others are genuinely siding with this because they believe the alternative would mean the deaths of their home and everyone they love. Again, I don’t agree with it, and I’m immensely proud of Armin and Mikasa and Reiner and the rest for sacrificing everything to fight to stop genocide, but with some of the Yeagerists there is nuance as to why they stand by Eren.

Always fun to see Annie’s Titan get back to work 🙂‍↕️ when she ran up like an athlete and PUNTED those dudes I had to hit the “Oof” face

Happy birthday!!

Hi guys, I have been watching these on Amazon Prime through Crunchyroll, but on Crunchyroll Season 4 finished with last weeks episode. Does anyone have any idea what else this episode could be called as there seems to be so many different AOT episodes and I cannot find one called Traitor? UPDATE Found it, on Season 4 there is a tab to view 1-24 and then if you switch it you can see 25-28.

daz and samuel had trained with connie and armin. daz was the man historia saved during that blizzard and samuel was saved when the walls were re-broken by reiner. he was knocked out and wouldve died had sasha not immediately gone to save him. its interesting because samuel shot armin in places he would most likely survive but also in the mouth to stop him from talking. so it brings up what armin was talking about when he first killed someone. because daz and samuel didnt kill connie and him, are they more human than them?

Happy Bday Nat. Actually the two specials aren't the last of Attack on Titan. There's the four secret AoT seasons that all of us are currently enjoying. Through you. Because we miss this show that much. And dang, Connie making my eyes moist even on the Nth rewatch..

Eeeeeeek Spider Man!! 🤩🤩

Happy Birthday Nat. Hope you have an amazing day 🥳🎂😊 Let's see what's happening on AOT. It doesn't sound good whatever it is 😬
