FIRST TIME WATCHING (sort of?): Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery
Happy Feature Friday folks!
I had no idea what to title this post since I've technically seen part of this film before, but not the whole thing. Either way, I'm excited to watch it in its entirety with you today.
Let me know what you think! Should we watch more Austin Powers?
For those who are curious, I watched this on Prime Video. Also, the video and timer in the corner cuts off towards the very end of the video because my assistant missed recording the end credits, but I did watch them, so the reaction continues.
As always, thank you so much for your support here on Patreon. Until the next one, stay golden! ✨

When you’re 10 minutes into an Austin Powers movie saying you don’t care for toilet humor, I was thinking “This is gonna be long and hard for you” … but “Yeah, baby!”, glad you enjoyed it.
Anyone else having audio issues with the reactions lately? A lot of hissing and static as if the mic voice activation settings are all over the place. Was the same for me in the latest X-Men reaction but don't experience with any other kind of content I watch
Sounded fine to me.
It's been so long since I've seen this movie but it's nice to have a movie where you can just switch off your brain. Do you have any plans to watch Rush Hour 3 to finish off that trilogy, Nat?
Mindy Sterling is such an underrated gem. Her appearances on the never not funny podcast are legendary. Also I love a Carrie Fisher cameo.
Can’t wait for you to watch the rest of them
I'm not a big fan of toilet humor (which is why I strongly recommend not watching the next one, for your own sake), but "cowboy misinterpreting the attempted mvrder in the next stall" is one of my all-time favorite bits.
Another fun Mike Myers movie is "So I Married An Axe Murderer," which features the voice he eventually repurposes for Shrek, and has a halfway decent soundtrack to boot, and a few cameos of people you may or may not know.
Yes, please watch So I Married An Axe Murderer.
The 2nd movie is most definitely worth watching.
I love these movies so much - I got many a vocal tick from it to this day 😂 who throws a shoe? Honestly? The sequels are just as fun, and one has BEYONCE! Would love to see reactions to them too 😁
The jumping freeze frame thing and the opening in general are a reference to The Beatles: A Hard Day's Night
The Spy Who Shagged Me is better imo, most people think it's the best, but my hot take is Goldmember is the best of the 3 so I really hope you watch both of them
funny that the Divinyls song was reference in yesterdays Buffy episode and was also used in the Fembot scene here. funny how that works out. I'd recomend the next two films they add some new characters including new Mike Myers character each film so by the third film he's playing 4 characters. theyre also super quoteable.
Never knew that the US release didn't have Christian Slater and the orange sherbet joke and didn't include the families of henchmen reacting to their loved ones deaths at the hand of Austin; those were some of the best bits of the film!
When it was released on DVD nearly thirty years ago, those were included as bonus scenes. I think maybe later MPAA-"unrated" versions included those scenes.
Absolutely love this trilogy hopefully you get to watch them all.
so, uh, the alotta fagina is a reference to the james bond character, yes, this was the characters name, pussy galore....
omgggg
The sequel is better
After you finished watching Austin Powers, you should watch the classic James Bond movies. So you can get all the references
Bring in the fem-BOTS!!!!
Quite the fitting mysterious title you got there lol 🥸
Haven't seen this one in years - Curious to see if I'll still find this type of humour funny :D
Excited for this reaction. For those watching in Canada like me it's currently streaming on Crave.
Yeah, baby! Happy Feature Friday Nat. A fun way to start off the weekend 😊 Your video title should be FIRST TIME WATCHING AUSTIN POWERS AGAIN. WELL, MOST OF IT! 😅
