Progress 17.07.2026

Hello all!

Heh... yeah, the update will be a few days later, most likely. I’m still rendering as I suspected, and I’m at around 450 renders at the moment. The last scene, well, nitpicking previous to the last, is heavy to render. A lot of textures and geometry to load. And tells you how heavy the scene is, it takes an hour to close it properly... Yeah, but I’ll finish the rendering tonight. Then coding and doing the post-work tomorrow. Luckily, there shouldn’t be too much of the latter, but partially because I’ve been doing it while rendering when the resources allow it.

Writing? Oh boy, it is where it should be at this point, but it’s not far enough because the rendering is taking time, well not rendering exactly, the set building and posing multiple people eats time. That and the heat, I have AC; I run it, it’s just the overall heat makes me feel groggy, so the writing isn’t flowing as much as it should... But it shall be done!

Took a while to find a non-spoilerish render. This is setting a goal for the next steps for a couple of plot lines at the same time. One of them isn’t major as is, but it plays well with a couple of other plot lines so it is an easy bridge to them together through that particular line. Right, I’ll continue rendering and doing stuff so I can get this thing out as soon as possible. You all have a great weekend!
