Hello all!
Time for Monday's ramblings... I mean progress post...
So rendering is in good shape overall, render count is where I would want it to be and in relation to script is where I want to be, more or less. There is slight slow down soon with rendering as there are a couple of variants I need to do. Not entirely sure how I do it yet, but... once I start rendering the actual scene, I know how it is done.
Writing is also where it is supposed to be, so all is good in that front as well. Yay?
Hooray for combat? So some of you know that I've had... some issues with the fight scenes. Also the realisation why in most games spell casters are limited compared to their melee counter part. Unrestricted magic is just overwhelming easily, and unless it is another mage it isn't going the a "fair fight" in any sense. Especially if the mage is prepared to fight. And to make matters worse there is Nisha... Which turns most situations 2 vs 1. Which means Tomas still wins, just takes longer. Now there is a solution to that, which I will be using when the time is right.
And now back to rendering and sorting an issue with... something code related...

Maybe it’s worth at least thinking about a non-censorship platform in the future? What if the rules become stricter? Working and constantly looking back at prohibitions is probably not very pleasant.
The rules haven't changed since 2019 when I looked them up, clarified yes and enforced more often yes, but not changed. But I knew what I signed up for so it doesn't affect my work to the slightest. With the recent clarifications, that are in my email at the moment, the conditions has become actually more suitable for me.

Lakha? Maybe if all goes well with the orc tribe. As for the other? That depends on allowed content policy, and until it changes answer is no with certain races, I'm afraid. (Unless you mean Gladeling, those are allowed)

You've seen it before, in Sorcerer and probably in dozen of other medieval/fantasy VNs. It's called "Medieval Interior Creation Kit" or MICK for short. And in the end, stone wall is a stone wall. Seen one, seen them all >.> Corridors are generally plain though. Although there is a variant with spider webs existing...

In some ways I wonder if later we will find out that Panther is ladyhawk like and cursed to be a Panther and when freed she will instead be an Amazonian goddess that was a Warrior prior to being cursed.
Well, a goddess might be a bit too much. Considering that they aren't allowed to be physically on the... "mortal plane of existance" so to say anymore. But beyond that? Who knows... except me but that would be cheating...
