I just heard the news Jules, that Anthony Head has passed away, our beloved Rupert and our hated Rupert! May he rest in peace
I'm really not surprised that Roy is hardly a spiritual or somber person, as much as we love him around here. There were some lovely heartwarming moments in this one for sure like the team suffering having to dress properly to go to the funeral and support Rebecca, Rupert being surprisingly sympathetic (though maybe his having a word with Nate shows he's up for something) and Rebecca bonding with her mother again near the end. A random thought I had was with his beard, I thought Rupert looked a little like the John Simm Master when he reappeared at the end of the Capaldi era. Appropriate as Antony Head has played a Doctor Who villain himself.
I hate that I love Rupert's beard so much 🤣 Isn't this show just so wonderful, though? The friendships and sense of community gives me the best feeling 🥰
