Dollhouse 2x2 Edited & Full
I really enjoyed this episode. It might be one of my favourites... And now because I've said that, I want to check the IMDB rating.
7.2??
Well, I guess that's not too bad.
Anyway - I thought this was so suspenseful and tense and I loved how deeply Echo was involved in this case. Topher is showing signs of "Genius" which only makes me worried, but I'm keen to see how he experiments further with that.

you should never mess with mom. theres not much i wouldnt do to protect my child. and i dont have her fighting skills. when she went to the cops they were not planted. they did NOT know what was going on. that woman believed her. not sure what they told the police chief but it wasnt the truth. sounded like they said she was crazy and kidnapped his baby. also the actives dont move on. they get something out of the contract from the dollhouse. when they put her back in her body they put her back in minus the pain from her childs death. so yeah they im sure prey on people who need something fixed. something they can offer them as a trade off. seems like it worked out well for madelin. especially if she couldnt function after her child died.
7.2 does seem a bit low. It's not the best episode of the show, but I don't see any obvious problems either. A father discovering the love for his child while also being in mourning is an interesting topic. As is putting the main character in the role of the potential murderer... In the larger plot it shows that some imprints - or maybe just Echo's - are stronger than the wipe. It's nice to see Mellie again. "I'm not sad." It's not quite the same as being happy is it? BTW, the (Alexis Denisof) senator's wife is played by Stacey Scowley - who also appeared in Buffy. But don't feel bad for not remembering, she was only a very small character with no name and no lines. She was the woman Spike killed when he was under the First Evil's influence in 7x07 (Conversations with Dead People).
OH WOW, that was her? I didn't recognise her at all, but I guess we didn't see much of her before she was gone ๐ I love Mellie. She's such an interesting character. I feel so much for her, she's been through so much, and now has to deal with all of those feelings. It must be weird, once they get let out of their contracts... ๐ I know they might not remember everything, but it would just be really unsettling!
