The Good Place 4x09 The Answer
It's all about CHIDI! One of my favourite characters. I feel so bad for the poor guy. I am sometimes plagued with indecisiveness, not as bad as Chidi thankfully, and I can't imagine how debilitating it would be to deal with it at his level.
Unexpectedly sad, which is sometimes surprising but always cleansing for the soul 😅🥲

This episode reminds me of when Janet first cried in season 3 episode 10, when talking to Tahani. "“And the emotions aren’t coming out of my butt, they’re coming out of my eyes which is somehow just as embarassing.”
One thing I love about Janet is how much she's changed and grown!! All those reboots... but I also feel it's more than that. It's because of FRIENDS!
So you don't want to be emotional during the remaining episodes. Hmm...What brand of facial tissue do you use? I would like to make an investment.
🤣🤣😭😭
Such a beautiful episode. Only 4 more to go. Ahhhhh. This show finishes so strong.
"There is no 'answer'... but Eleanor is the Answer." 😭😭😭 Makes me sob like a big baby. It's so beautiful. I love Chidi always, but especially in that moment. "What a time to learn..." Oh, Chidi. ❤️
Chidi is beautifully human and flawed, just like all of us 💜
Such an amazing episode. And happy birthday to Eleanor!
That ending... There's no answer to that ending.
"There's something about this episode that hurts... but feels... good" YES. I wanted to say when you first started watching about how this show can make you feel, but thought it best to let you discover that yourself. Good luck with getting through the next few episodes. This show is incredible 🥲
It's been the most wonderful journey, honestly... If it wasn't for you guys suggesting it, I'd NEVER have seen it. And that's just insane!!
It's odd because it's kind of a throwaway line but "I never knew they went to counselling" is one of my favourite line deliveries of the entire show. It's really just a functional line of dialogue to set up Michael's joke and the overall message of the scene, but the actual delivery, smiling but on the edge of big emotion, it just kills me.
I love that moment too. What Chidi says ("I never knew...") is so filled with emotion, and then Michael makes it so funny at the same time ("Yeah, kids are idiots," lol). It's a fantastic moment in the series.
