A little update!
I want to thank everyone for their comments left on my last two "advice needed" posts! It has helped SO much and I keep going back to read them over and over. I have a very hard time making decisions (not as bad as Chidi, thankfully) so having you here to help me has been so good 💜
Most people seemed to think Ted Lasso is a great idea for a reaction, but I did have someone mention that maybe two Apple shows so close to each other might not be the best idea. I never thought about it like that, but it makes sense. I think I'm pretty much sold on Ted, but I think it might be something that comes after Severance.
I loved the suggestion of a movie a month. I know it doesn't sound like much but it might even be tricky for me to achieve that unless I just get them all edited. Movies are about 2 hours long and the editing for it honestly will take me all day. I'll see how I go with the Karate Kid reaction but I love how many of you were keen for just TV shows! I definitely seem to prefer them.
I might put a pause on the Battlestar Galactica idea for now. I noticed a post from a reactor who decided to stop BSG on her channel as it was plagued with copyright issues. Unless I put a logo over it like Doctor Who, it does sound like it could be painful.
I've found a Farscape Official youtube channel which has all the episodes on it, so that's something I'm considering and also I know everyone keeps recommending Dollhouse. It's our last Joss show (I think?) and it's only 2 short seasons so.... I reckon we watch that very soon!
I just really wanted to make one decision so I feel a bit better that I at least know one thing that could work and makes sense for me to watch 😅 As to when, I don't know where it could slot in so let me think about that. Slowly but surely we will get there!
Also, I want to say how much fun I've been having with the reactions lately. I think The Good Place has given me a bit of an emotional boost and I've started to enjoy the editing process more than I used to. It can be hard as I have a few other channels and I've been working a lot on Juliette's Gaming Corner with scripting and I often think that if I didn't do THAT, I'd have a lot more time for reactions. The gaming videos are something I dearly love though, so to work on them just makes me happy - even though they don't get a huge amount of views. It's more of a passion project for sure 💜

I honestly hope you still continue to invest in the "Whoniverse franchise" everyone seems to enjoy your videos of Doctor Who and i promise that you will share the same amount of love with Torchwood. I believe you would grow quite fond of Torchwood there are soo many cool episodes with Torchwood and you won't regret putting that in your list xx
Ooooooo Dollhouse!!! Such a great show! "Miss Casey" (Dichen Lachman) is on it, and it is one of my favorite roles that she plays!! She's such a brilliant actress!!
I agree with all the comments here that say you should do something that you enjoy. If you're not happy watching something, if it becomes a chore, it will show. I am here whatever. For example, I recently watched Severence so watching it again? Not yet thanks, but I will still watch your edited reactions. All the other things you have thought about, I have either watched and loved and would be happy to watch again, or I have never seen so would be happy to try them. But only if you are happy to watch them.
i’ve been loving your doctor who reactions so much, it’s such a nice part of my wednesday evening. would love to see The Thick of It someday on your channel-i think it’s different from anything else you’ve seen and would make you laugh quite a bit. a movie a month would be awesome!! keep up the great work, i love your channel

I think it is most important to choose what you feel comfortable doing. While I am sure we all appreciate that you try to make us happy 1) there is no way all of is will agree on anything, 2) if you're not enjoying what you are doing then the reactions will suffer anyway. Couple thoughts that you can feel free to ignore. I think keeping a mix of comedy and drama is nice for us and you., so i might replace good place with a comedy and severance with a drama (and maybe dr. who eventually with another sci fi.) You could argue having multiple shows on the same service makes it easier as people don't have to get as many, but I get both sides. Lastly, just to keep it in the back of your head somewhere, my first choice of a show for you to consider is Arcane. Only 2 seasons, gorgeous to look at, and great characters. However, I know you are looking for fewer options, so sorry.
I love your ideas!! I really want to work with that idea of replacing shows like for like! It makes sense! It's why I have chosen A Man on the Inside for the Good Place replacement due to the Ted factor. After Doctor Who would be perfect for a sci fi show (Farscape, Star Trek Next Generation etc) and after Severance maybe Dollhouse would fit nicely there too. We'd have comedy, drama and sci fi. Something for everyone 💜
I know I speak for a lot of us when I say that we're glad you're doing what you enjoy. That's what makes your reactions entertaining. The emotional roller coasters are sincere, which really matters. I think Farscape might be an idea. I've never seen it, so watching your reactions would be more interesting, I think. 🙂 🏳️🌈🖖💚💜
