Okay - fine. We have a funny episode and then one that makes us sad. It's cool... I get it 🥺
I also really, really don't like Brent. And that makes me feel bad for not liking him? I think back to the Eleanor we saw in brief flashbacks when she was alive and I SUPPOSE they are both bad people but I just feel that Brent has almost zero redeeming qualities and I feel guilty for saying that!!

I feel like there could've been a spinoff called 'The Best Place' 😂😂😂 God, I hate Brent. Yet, those guys exist by the millions and control everything. While exhibiting the most blatant crybully behavior human history has ever known 🤷♂️
I think Michael lied to Eleanor about faking the nervous breakdown. His face when she says "all right" is too convincing to not have it be a lie. He was most likely actually nervous and scared cos if it messed up, his 4 favourite humans would be screwed.
When Chidi says "I never actually fell in love" and Eleanor responds "... I know." This is one of my favorite moments of Kristen Bell's ability to do great subtle acting.
You have no reason to feel guilty about not liking Brent. He is the absolute worst. Also I remember when the Jaguars cut Blake Bortles in the real world and wondered whether they would address in the show. And of course, they did.
OOH I'd love to know how close it was to the episode airing! I know nothing about American football so for a long while I did wonder if Blake was even real haha
It's ok, Eleanor doesn't like Brent either. :)
