Angel 4x20 Sacrifice
VERY enjoyable episode and I thought Wes was SO good in this one! It still blows my mind how far he has come as a character. He was so cringy back on Buffy - so awkward. AND THAT KISS?! Sorry to remind everyone 🤣 He's now become this force of a character and I'd say he's right up there as one of my favourites.
It's funny how the main character is never my favourite on Angel OR Buffy. Lorne and Wes are probably my favourite on Angel and on Buffy, my favourites are Giles, Spike, Tara and... I cannot believe I am saying this... probably Andrew. I mean, I love everyone. PLEASE understand this 🤣 but there are some I enjoy seeing more than others!

yeah i feel like wesley has probably the best character arc. he changes so much and becomes a really good character.
The 'Jasmine?' worshipping demon doing the blood magic was played by Jeff Rickets. We saw him a few times before (without make-up) on Buffy and Angel. He played Weatherby, one of the retrieval team sent by the Watcher's Council to bring back Faith. He is the one who spit on Buffy/Faith in the armored truck (in 'Who Are You') and threw the dart past Wesley's head (in 'Sanctuary'). He has had an extensive career as a character actor on TV and movies.

Good choices on your favourite characters. I would also add Oz from Buffy. Who would be your least favourites? I'd say Riley from Buffy, and Connor from Angel.
OZ!! I did think of adding him in the list, but then I started to feel guilty because I had already added several and would feel sad for the people that aren't on the list 🤣 In Buffy, my least favourites..... Ah see, this is controversial but I would say Faith from the earlier episodes (of course I like her now, though!! Her time on Angel really changed how I felt for her and now I understand her and love her character) and Warren. I feel guilty (again!) picking the prominent characters haha And on Angel.... Well, there's less to choose from, really! So..... if I have to pick one.... No, Neil, I can't do it 🤣🤣 I'm too soft! But maybe.... Connor as well 🥹 I will say that I am enjoying his character more now towards the end of this season than back when he sank poor Angel to the bottom of the ocean, which I think is understandable haha
