It's really hard to write these little intros about the episode as SO MUCH is going on! So maybe... I'll just say hello 👋
This episode was a little stretched again on Disney, but I changed the perspective a little and I don't think it's ended up too badly!
I hope everyone had a safe and happy Easter weekend 💜 I made a carrot cake yesterday so will ice that today (cream cheese frosting!) and that will be a lovely dessert and suitable for Easter? I mean... there's carrots! It's practically a HEALTHY cake 🤣

Trivia Tidbit: The finger eating demon was played by Danny Woodburn who has been in a lot of movies and TV shows (not always under so much make-up). He is probably best known for his recurring role on Seinfeld as Mickey, Kramer's friend. As for the Fred/Angel kiss, we have seen this diversionary tactic before on Buffy. It is Xander's favorite means of throwing off pursuers (real or imaginary). In the finale of season 2 he grabs and kisses Buffy when the cops are looking for her in the hospital where Willow is. Also, when he and Buffy are infiltrating the Initiative, he grabs and kisses Buffy to 'hide' from the soldier guys coming toward them.
Xander has never actually kissed Buffy so far. All he does is hug her in the season 2 finale and she stops him before he can kiss her while they're infiltrating the Initiative. But yes, I agree Fred kissed Angel as a diversionary tactic.
Fred's one true love, you should know this, is Lorne. A great review. There's Pylea resonances all over these first two parts isn't there!
Carrot cake with cheese cream frosting sounds delicious! For dessert today I had banana cake & custard. Also delicious.

I wish I could share it with you! It's a hefty beast 😆 it's really good, though my recipe called for crushed pineapple which I already am not a fan of haha but the cream cheese frosting makes up for it!
