Update - 24/07/2023

Hello, everyone! How was your weekend? I know some of you spent it playing and being busy. I myself was mostly working, but I did receive my League of Dungeoneers KS pledge so I spent a bit of time organizing it. I'm really excited to get into it! I'm scared of reading the rulebook because I don't want it to influence the design of my new dungeoncrawling game, but I'm actually done writing all the rules for that, and I'm now just in the process of adding the meat to the bones. All the class mechanics are in, and so are all the exploration procedures, encounters, etc. I just need to add all the room descriptions, the loot system, and the enemies. Yeah, I've worked very fast on this new game, because I'm very excited to play it myself!

The other day on the Blackoath Discord I revealed both the game's title and the cover, so take a look at this!

Such an incredible cover, right? It's done by José Antonio Ávila, a Spanish artist that I recently discovered and I felt was perfect for this project. He's also doing the interior art (or will, when I can pay him), so this is going to look super good! In case you have problems reading the logo, the game's called Ker Nethalas: Into the Midnight Throne. 

I finished the layout for Warlord Ascendant, but I'm afraid I don't have money to pay ORB to finish the interior art, so I'll upload the mostly artless version here for you guys in a day or two, so you can at least start reading it and playing it. As soon as I can afford it, my priority is paying him and getting this game properly done!

Alan is almost done with his part of Under Ashen Skies, so I'm hoping we can have the KS very soon! Maybe even next week, who knows! I hope it goes well because the extra expenses regarding Across a Thousand Dead Worlds are killing me. Glynn is done with the core book but he still has to redo all the playsheets and the player reference, so we're talking quite a bit of money here. It's all worth it, though! The game is going to be as good as it deserves.

So that's it for now, this week I'll keep working on Ker Nethalas, and attempting to have the UAS KS ready. It's going to be a crucial week!
