Update - 09/01/2023

Hello, and welcome to the first update of the year! Let's say hi to Aaron by the way, our newest Order member!

Unless you've been living under a rock, I'm sure you're all aware of the OGL shitshow. I'm not going to comment much because I honestly don't have the expertise for it and at this point it's all speculation, but I sure hope they don't move forward with the retroactive version of the OGL, because that would mean both Sacrifice and Path of the Aram Thyr are affected. I could re-do both games in a different system but it would be a ton of work, so I'm really not happy about how things are shaping up. I'm super happy I didn't use the OGL for Across a Thousand Dead Worlds though, that would have been absolutely catastrophic for me.  

Moving to happier news, I've made good progress on Godshard's layout, despite still being sick. This is literally the worst flu I've had in my whole life, it just doesn't go away. At least I can still sit in front of my PC and type away... Although I commissioned a lot of art for Godshard, I ended up using some stock art as well. I'm pretty broke right now and I can't keep pouring thousands of Euros on games that might or might not work out. Sacrifice is doing much better than I expected, and still I haven't been able to cover all my investment (counting what I paid artists and writers for the three books though, not just the core book). Speaking of Sacrifice, The Dungeon Dive made a really cool video about it! 

Aside from working on Godshard, I've also started a new project. At this point I'm not even going to comment on why I keep starting new things while I have others waiting to be finished, it is what it is. At least you guys are getting cool stuff, I guess? I don't want to reveal anything about it yet, but I must say I'm having a blast designing it, and it's another curveball, definitely not something that you would expect me working on. Or maybe yes, who knows at this point. Here's the logo though!
