Update - 12/09/2022

Hello, everyone, and welcome to another weekly update! How was everybody's weekend? I stayed home writing, and also spent some time watching the new LOTR TV show, which I'm really enjoying.

I've been trying to ultimate some Across a Thousand Dead Worlds' details, now that we're so close to releasing the PDF. We've been talking about the details and things to include with the deluxe copies, and I thought it would be great to have some starting planets/facilities already generated and ready to be explored, so you can jump straight into the action. Personally the random generation is my favorite part, I like being surprised and generating a story as I progress, on the fly, but I understand it can be a bit overwhelming at the beginning so this is a nice way to get into the game.

I've continued working on Empire Undying, adding smaller pieces of rules that I thought would be good to have. Things like traps or lock-picking, these are rules that are easily adapted to any other game so I thought you guys would benefit from having them ASAP, incase you want to use them for something else. I think you'll find them fun and refreshing! Lock-picking is a mini game where you need to guesstimate some number based on dice rolls, and the traps and hazards rules are not the typical ones where you receive damage and that's it; these are actual hindrances, and they cause injuries that will really slow you down or force you to take a rest. What's the point of placing a fire trap or a spike trap, if both are just going to deal damage? It's more fun if they have different consequences. And yes, don't worry, I haven't forgotten about Sorcery, that comes next!

Last but not least, I've been working together with Leo to finalize the details of LF OSR's edition of Sacrifice. We're adding a lot of exclusive goodies (including a small booklet with the solo rules!), so this is going to be a really cool collector's edition. Can't wait!

So that's it for now, this week I'll just keep working on EU, and probably deal with a lot of ATDW's questions, if we do finally release the PDF this week! Which by the way, will be up here for Evocatus and Master Patrons. I'll keep you guys posted!
