Update - 05/09/2022
Hello! How was your weekend? I know that those of you in the US are still enjoying an extra day of resting, which is great.
This week has been focused on trying to see how I handle the pact rules for Empire Undying, as well as the other bits and pieces of rules I still want to add to the game. It's a slow process, as expected, but this is the part of game design I really enjoy! Coming up with implementations to abstract ideas is super fun. I'm afraid I don't have much to tell at the moment, but I will definitely have something to show you before the month's over!
I've also started working on the layout for Sacrifice's Companion expansion. This is the list of stuff it will have:
- Consequences for a Branded's starting wound
- The Commoner and Knight-Errant starting occupations (with rules and tables for creating a noble house)
- Dueling rules
- Hit location rules
- New Feats & Combat Maneuvers
- GM-less rules
- Detailed rules for improving your weapon
- New leveling options
- A detailed description of Dethrak's Thousand, a mercenary band lead by an Apostle, and their territory
I'm pretty broke right now though so I can't afford any art, haha. I'll wait until I can afford it before I upload it here for you guys. Hopefully next month!

With the release of Across a Thousand Dead Worlds coming closer, we've been discussing how to distribute the PDF. My idea is to first give it to backers ASAP while we finish the print details, which should give us a couple of weeks or so of feedback, in case there are things we must fix, before's too late. In order to do so, we'll be sharing a Dropbox link to backers via a KS update. Risky, I know, but the file's gonna end up all over the internet either way, so I might as well make it easier for us.
I've also started looking more seriously at the SRD, and made one of those Carrd sites. Let's see what comes out of it, I'm still struggling to find a balance between what should be part of it, and what should be kept out.
