Update - 10/05/2021

Hello, everyone! I'm back with another update. First of all though, let's welcome our newest members: Eugene, and Nick Thornton! Thanks so much for joining the Order!

So as you might have guessed, I've been completely focused on Across a Thousand Dead Worlds. One of the two illustrators that we've found fit our project has started working on some art, here's an advanced sketch of a Void Runner (as I said before, I'm gonna use that as a name for the explorers, as well as Deep Diver).

It's looking cool, isn't it? Can't wait to see more...

I've been focused on trying to finish the Site exploration rules, and all the content necessary for it. It's the core game experience so I'm throwing at it all my experience and ideas as a game designer, and I think it's going to be great. I've also spent a stupid amount of time considering adding tactical grid-based combat rules, because the combat rules in place are quite wargamey already. Right now it's all written for ToTM gameplay style (the way I prefer to play RPGs), but I'm thinking that if we have a Kickstarter campaign (which is 90% likely), this could be a cool stretch goal. 

Once I'm done with the Site exploration rules (this week, hopefully, if I don't get sidetracked as always), I'll tackle the planetary exploration and generation rules. Don't expect anything too detailed here though because it's not the focus of the game. I'm guessing it will be something similar to what I have for Disciples of Bone & Shadow. Speaking of which, as you all know this month is its turn for Patreon content, so I have a few options. Since I can't decide I think I'll do a bit of all: new opponents (these are for games in the Fractured Dominion, since I realize that most of the enemies from the Basic Edition didn't make it to the Conquered Sun edition), adding a few extra critical hit tables to the new combat rules I implemented two months ago, and other new stuff I'm working on as well.

So as you can see, I have a few busy weeks ahead of me, just how I like it! Hope you guys have a great week!
