Update - 08/03/2021

Hello! I'm back one more week with another update. This is going to be another boring one, since it's been completely focused on finishing the content I was in charge of for Muspelhell. I think I've mentioned it before, but in case you don't remember we unlocked via stretch goals something called the Subterranean Mälström, a new game mode that players can partake in once they've finished the main campaign. Essentially, the party has gone so deep underground they're now trapped in an ever-shifting maze of tunnels and caverns, and they must find their way back home. This is done by exploring each cavern and finding a Hrimhjarta, a magic item that crystallizes reality, fixating a cavern into place. Without it, once the party exits a cavern they may not return to it; it would be a completely different place. So you can imagine that this means lots of random tables, to generate all the details about the caverns and tunnels that connect them... It's fun stuff, but I'm so slow at creating content, as you know! I'm now done though, finally! We'll have to do some tweaks here and there, but I'm essentially done with Muspelhell.

I mentioned it on Discord the other day, but I've been contacted by Brazil's largest indie company (something like Exalted Funeral in Brazil) about publishing Disciples of Bone & Shadow there, making an official Portuguese version! I of course said that I'm interested, so now I'm waiting for them to get back to me with the details. I'll keep you guys posted! It's really exciting because this company is already in charge of OSE and Forbidden Lands (among others), so having my game there is a real honor!

This week I'll dive deep into this month's Patreon content. I'm very excited about releasing this, I think it's going to be a game-changer for Disciples! I've also been tinkering with an alternative way of handling Corruption, one that implies adding Sanity as a stat, but I need to test it out, I'm not sure this is something we need or even want... It would make corruption less of a direct threat, but it would have the added layer of having to deal with a potential mental breakdown. We'll see!

And I'm afraid that's all I have for now! The biggest event on the horizon is the arrival of the Warlock! copies (by the way, remember that Master-level Patrons already have access to the PDF!). I'm hoping I'll be able to make good progress now with Under Ashen Skies, since I don't have any other big commitments, and I'm not planning on accepting any until that's done.
