Goodbye, 2020!

Hello guys! So here we are, in the last update of the year! 2020 has been a difficult year for all of us, but it has also brought some really positive things to my life. At the top of that list is starting this Patreon and discovering that there are so many amazing individuals out there willing to support my work! I cannot express how humbled and honored I am for having your support, and how much I appreciate it. It really pushes me to work constantly and to offer you guys the best content possible. 

At first when I look back at this year I think "damn, it hasn't really been a productive year". Seekers Beyond the Shroud was released this year, but it was finished in 2019, so it doesn't really count. Granted, it's been a constant development thing and I've been tweaking it non-stop, but nothing compared to the process of developing and writing it. Covert Wars was also released this year, but again, that was written last year! So that leaves us with the Narrative Playbook for Disciples of Boone & Shadow; that was fully written and released this year. So not a lot, quite frankly! But then I look back at all the stuff I've produced for you guys, and I kind of understand why I haven't been so productive, "officially" speaking. It's been 5 releases for Disciples and 11 for Seekers, totaling over a 100,000 words, which would be a decent size book! 

My biggest regret is not having been able to release Under Ashen Skies. I've been working on that game for about a year now, but combining the fact that it's not easy to come up with so many new systems and rules and a rich, varied setting, with me getting distracted by other projects constantly, it resulted in it being stuck in a kind of development hell. I'm almost there with it, just missing a couple of major systems and all the actual content (random tables), and I love the ideas for it since I think I came up with some pretty clever stuff. So I will finish it, guaranteed. As soon as I'm done with putting together Nuctemeron, I'm going back to it to see if I can get it finally done.

Last but not least, the Conquered Sun copies are arriving today! Shipping them is going to keep me busy for a couple of weeks, but I'll start working on January's content, which means Disciples time! As usually, I have a few ideas of what I want to do, I'll let you know as soon as I narrow it down.
