Update - 21/12/2020

Hello! I'm back with another weekly update. First of all, I'd like to welcome RG TRENTEHUIT to the Order! I'm very happy to see the Patreon growing lately, I cannot express how grateful I am for your support!

So this past week I've been working on this month's Patreon content, the GM-less rules for Seekers Beyond the Shroud. It's been a lot of back and forth, but since I was basing it all on what I did for Disciples of Bone & Shadow, I had a template to follow and it's been really helpful. I'm done with it now and it should show up here today, finally. Next is the resting table for Seekers, as we discussed before. It should be done before the end of the month, as usual!

My restless mind has been distracted with a cool idea I had for another setting, and I have been writing down notes. Essentially, it's an alternate history setting where the Roman Empire is ruled by necromancers, and all the legions are undead soldiers. Players have all been killed and brought back to life as soldiers, but somehow have managed to escape the control of the necromancers, making them of special interest to the Romans. There's also elemental affinities and subclasses, and other cool stuff. I don't know when I'd ever get the chance to work on it in a proper way, but if I do so I think I'd make it as an OSE setting, instead of having to write the full rules. Maybe next year? I still need to finish Under Ashen Skies first, and after that my idea was to work on turning Disciples into an OSE setting (it's a secret! only you guys and the people of Exalted Funeral and Necrotic Gnome know about it). I also really want to work on the Narrative Playbook for Seekers... So much stuff!

So this week I'll work on the resting tables for Seekers, but unfortunately the holidays are going to suppose me having actually less time to work on games. We're not really having family meetings this year because of COVID, but I will still have dinner with my parents a couple of days, and I'll have some friends over as well one or two days (all properly tested against COVID, now that they sell the tests on pharmacies).

So to all of you who celebrate these holidays, happy holidays, and stay safe! I'll be back next week for the last update of the year!
