You noticed at the beginning the two dragons, Vermithor (male) and Silverwing (female), indeed nuzzling. It would make sense since they've spent much time together flying with their previous riders: King Jaehaerys and his wife Queen Alysanne. Its very likely that Vermithor and Silverwing have nested together and produced clutches of dragon eggs. Speaking of dragon eggs, it was pretty cool the reveal of Alys showing Aemond an abandoned clutch of eggs from Dreamfyre, who is now Helaena's dragon, though we haven't seen her riding Dreamfyre (in the show at least).
In season 1 episode 7 (the driftmark episode) we get a brief shot of Aegon, Aemond and Helaena flying back towards Kingslanding but we don't get much detail

The Vale part of the storyline has been a bit of a mixed bag. Lady Jane and Rhaena had a vague agreement, i guess. But as you point out, it's kinda unenforceable.
