The Boys S05Ep 08- FULL REACTION

I feel it happens to a lot of shows to get to a point where they have fully developed the characters, only to lose sense of them by trying to do weird things, and then in the end go back to the basic dynamics that made the show.

Peaky Blinders here we go!

For sure the weakest season. Writing-wise it had some problems, it was chaotic with unnecessary fillers in the middle just to rush everything at the very end. Also, a notable problem was that production-wise they had a lot of budget constraints. VFX teams constantly spoke about "not having money for this or that". Or production spoke about how they had fewer shooting days for the final battle than a regular mid-season battle in previous seasons. But yes, thankfully at least the finale made everything fall into the right place.
