So for some reason, a YouTube feature messed up and blurred a big portion of the hour and a half lego video I just put out. I've been talking to support for the last 4 hours and there's nothing I can do unless get access to a YouTube rep. Also Bricks and Minifigs is doing whatever they can to take my video down and they might be able to get it down in the next day or so unless I get a YouTube rep to help me out. The only problem is I'm not big enough of a YouTuber to have access to a YouTube rep. I'm going to make a video about it tomnorrow explaining everything on my 2nd channel, but I really don't know what to do right now. If anyone has access to a YouTube rep, that would be sick. otherwise the only thing I can think of is commenting on big streamers or something to have them help out if they're down to support a smaller creator. But I'm open to any ideas!

I'm posting this here because I really hope you will see this after seeing you represent yourself in court: For the love of God, don't represent yourself. Get a lawyer. I agree that the system sucks. Lawyers are too expensive, and many of them aren't very good, but you cannot do this yourself. A client who represents himself has a fool for a lawyer. Would you tell someone who has never slacklined before to walk across a rope over the Grand Canyon? There are things you know that they don't even know they don't know. Same here. Even well-practiced lawyers who are experts in their fields fail when they choose to represent themselves. You remove the ability to claim ineffective assistance of counsel when you represent yourself. You're also so personally connected to the case that you lose the perspective an independent third party can bring. If you think I'm wrong, go check out Team Skeptic's YouTube channel. People who represent themselves turn small fines into years of jail time all the time. Don't think you can outsmart this system. Any loophole you think you've found is going up against a system that has had more than 200 years and millions upon millions of people trying to find those same loopholes. The courts have seen it all before. This is not a fragile system that can't handle an outside-the-box thinker with a new idea. It faces that challenge every single day, over and over again, and it has developed safeguards specifically to prevent those loopholes from working. Don't represent yourself. I am begging you. This does not help you take down BAM or the police.

I understand your worry, but with how big this has gotten, YouTube should know that taking it down would cause them controversy. They are way bigger than BAMF, and hosting platforms have strong legal protections. Under federal law, websites aren’t liable for what others post. I don’t think they will take the video down.

That YouTube blur function has never really worked. It happens a lot to first amendment auditors, which sucks but personally doesn’t take away from the video imo
i think the gamers nexus take is the right one, reupload it to other media plattforms, and permisions other to reupload, but ask them to take it down, when yours get reposted (if it needs to). While you are making videos about why your video was taken down.

I think getting this out to larger creators would be the play. So many would be willing to help out. A lot of the smaller/same size legal channels have already been picking this up. Tech may be interested in dunking on a Mormon scammer ripping off Lego fans, even though his normal wheelhouse is FGC drama. I'll throw $50 or $100 maybe for you to use as super chats if needed, and I'll hit up my Google rep at work even though she's for a different product. She might know someone, since she's in the SF campus.

As for the video, I would suggest talking to SkeeterJean aka Skeet Hanson who had similar troubles with someone trying to get the videos removed. He did something where somehow there was someone automatically uploading his videos to a random second channel after he'd upload them, and oh no he doesn't have anything to do with those videos, because it's actually someone else (kind of the franchise argument). Having this be a second channel, they can't strike it as easily, and it becomes a conveniently backed up solution. The guys doing the pedo videos like SkeeterJean and Jideon run into people doing the copyright strikes against them, and they seem to be successful, although it's not against a large corporation like bricks and minifigs.
My suggestion is something along the audit lines. There's a guy called WolvesAndFinance who is mainly doing Charlie Kirk stuff right now, BUT he's a great person to evaluate this from the legal mindset and to get eyes on it. From the auditing sphere, I would suggest Long Island Audit is a guy who has almost more actual police and trial experience, but there are MANY auditors in the los angeles area who would help you. These guys do it to stop the police tyranny, so they are often very willing to help.
back to the auditor thought, I would personally look for an auditor that has experience in the SLC infrastructure, because it can be difficult. If these auditors are already embroiled and winning against these organizations, then they would possibly have some tactics that would help your situation.

Maybe reach out to civil rights lawyer on YouTube and see if you can collab? He has a couple of mill subs and he could cover the police treatment of you. You could actually get more than the $200k of lego in your suits against the police department

Hi Ben! First of all amazing work on your videos. I think you should choose one individual at a time and point your mob crowd at them to get attention. People are mentioning Moist Critical, others could be Audit the Audit, The Civil rights Lawyer, Atrioc. I think you need to take the lead on this and point your community at just one person to ask for help. Now things will not cut through the noise as everyone is randomly sending messages to different youtubers. You should post something like this on all of your social media outlets: "Help me get Moist Criticals attention. Ping him on every social media and link my Bricks and Minifigs video and tell him to watch it Ben needs help" Your community will deliver.

Big streamers like stories like this it's a matter of time before it gets to them, especially when you upload part 2 on youtube. The fastest way stories get to big streamers, is when they are going viral on twitter/tiktok. Stories like these go viral there because everyone can cash in the virality of the content by making posts about it both big and small acounts, get views from it and so on... But YouTube is a different environment, only big creators matter and it takes a lot of time to make a youtube video vs twitter/tiktok post.
It's ok Ben, the blur is barely noticeable and put in such a way that everything that gets blurred is eventually revealed anyways. I think they wanted to blur their faces.

I saw the blurs, it didn't take away from the video after about 30 seconds of watching. Basically forgot they existed. Does the "editor" function inside YouTube studio not allow you to remove the blurs? I know you can add the blurs in it.
